Tap, tent unizo event (last oct.). Gold, + white head. Trace malt in the nose, gently sweet and yeasty in the mouth, emerging grain in the finish with some yeasty bitterness. Like it !

Apariencia: color naranja claro, turbio, poco carbónico, bastante poso, corona escasa y blanca.
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2009 I’m surprised that this does not rate higher. This beer represents everything I like about Belgian beer and all of those qualities that American brewers cannot seem to replicate when brewing their own versions of classic Belgian styles. My sample was soft and subtle, with orchard fruit flavors, blunt hops and yeasty notes. Some of the flavors that I find in the great abbey beers like Rochefort.
My second sample was no disappointment, but this time I definitely noticed some wild watermelon notes I didn’t get the first time. Great stuff this. hetyu (115) - HUNGARY - AUG 30, 2012
Bottle - WoW! This beer should definitely rate higher!
Really nice orange/golden in colour with a big white had which leaves decent lacing. Taste begins with malt sweetness, followed with a thin yeasty sourness and some biscuit. Ends with good amount of hop, which is unusual for a Belgian ale but absolutely good that this one has it. Great beer! omhper (25153) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 23, 2005
Bottled. Hazy golden with some sediment. Orangey, lightlyflowery nose. Lightly yeasty with soft, lively mouthfeel and lots of fresh hops. Really bitter finish. Excellent stuff from an excellent brewer!

Blond colour with nice head. A lot of fruit taste and smell, grains, hops, nice bitterness. Very refreshing and lots of taste. mike_77 (6673) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - MAR 3, 2008

Spicy, grassy aroma. Great balanced taste that is fresh and flavoursome with just a hint of sweetness coming through at the end. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 24, 2011
Tap at RNH. Slightly hazy golden pour. Tight creamy white head. The nose is softly spicy. Initially the beer has a peppery character and there is a very rich creamy palate. Bright earthy Belgian pale malt with a nice rusticity. Lightly wheaty with anice light spiciness as well. Fairly fruity (melons) which is also quite nice. Softly marshmallowy with a little bit of light cotton candy as well. There is a little bit of Saaz noble hoppiness. Pretty damn nice brew. I don’t know how 12% importer keep finding these really great, rustic examples, but they do. podey (638) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 14, 2013
UPDATED: APR 14, 2013 33cl bottle at BXL East. Pours slightly cloudy, pale golden yellow color with a small head. Lovely beer, aroma and taste of yeast and fruit and hops. Incredibly well balanced. Highly drinkable. rondphoto (4455) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Cloudy dirty blond with a smooth full head that has good retention, curtains of fine lace. Taste begins with a bracing caramel malt that has a nice carbonation edge; grows through the palate, warming and changing to a smooth, lingering butter rum finish. Complex, balanced, good-tasting Belgian Blond. High recommendation.
