330 ml bottle. Fruity aroma with citrus, pear, honey, golden malts, and a bit of spice. Deep orange-gold with lots of little floaties and a low, lacy head. Sweet, malty flavor, honey, lemon, sweet bread, pears and peaches; quite yeasty, thick and heavy, oily palate, slight hop botterness in the finish but I would appreciate much more. ok, but rather boring and gutless.

Carefully poured, this beer is golden orange w/ quite a bit of haze and some particulates. The head is fully and white and leaves behind little splotches of lace. Nose is quite nutty--lots of almond extract esp.--w/ a slight tartness and a bit of citrus character. The taste is not far from that w/ a bit of earthy bitterness to finish things out. Lightly sweet and medium bodied w/ strong, prickly carbonation, this is a beer w/ some weight but one that still retains a good deal of drinkability. This is a pretty tasty Belgian and one I wont mind trying again.

Golden coloured with much sediment. Aroma of apples. Fruity and sweet flavour with red apples. This beer sold out on the first day of Karakterbierweekend 2004 in Vichte before I had tasted it, but fortunately they went to the brewery to get some more.
