COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
During the British Colonial Times, the English exported beer to India. To preserve the beer for a longer period, extra-hopped beers were produced (hops maintain natural preservation and add bitterness to the beer).

Pours a little cloudy blond beer with a fine laced head. A lot of carbon is present in the glass. Smells like passion fruits and pineapple. Tastes very soft, fruity, spices. In the aftertaste again some fruityness and hops. Very complex and well balanced beer.

big malted barley and wheat aroma like butterscotch and sweet with caramel and perhaps a bit of vanilla. flavors like above with hint of vegetable and a bit of really any fruit i’ll say pineapple. Beige looking brew with a hop presence that intensifies and retreats. never had such a full brew yet with a watery body this is magnificent beer.

Wow, what a surprose. I went to Craft Ale for Avery 16, but this one stole the show. Poured turbid deep goldish orange with 2-fingers of fluffy, clingy white head and spare lacing. The nose was citric in a pineapple and tangerine sense, with yeasty spice, rock sugary malt, and floral spicy wafts. The flavor was rock malty, on the sweet side, with a pronounced ciitric, floral, and yeasty spice presence, all balanced to perfection and smoother than silk. I had two of these, and wish i could have growlered it. Truly one of the best saisons i have ever quaffed.

very nice floral hoppy aroma hit me right away. the colour is cloudy straw yellow with a great white head. the flavor is an almost american ipa kinda hoppy with some suttle belgian funk to it. over all a really pleasent hoppy belgian hybrid style beer.

Pours a dark hazy golden orange color with golden ripe nanana yellow hues when held to a light source and a 1.5 finger frothy white head. Excellent retention with a nice amount of lacing in the tulip. Earthy hops dominate the aroma with some nice bready yeast and clean crisp light fruit. Slight malt backbone with some straw and grass notes. Very hop forward for a Belgian with a fuller end of medium body with a nice citrus bready yeast presence. Hints of citrus fruit, peppery spice, ripe banana, light crisp apple and pear and a bone dry pine finish. This is a very complex beer which is extremely dry, piney and bitter for a Belgian beer with a nice amount of light crisp fruit from the Belgian yeast strain and a slightly malty backbone.

33cl bottle. Clear orange and hazy. Big head with ivory white color. Sip : Strong citrus aromas. Hay and bit caramel malts. Sip ; It’s low to medium density, a bit oily liquid with almost flat carbonation. Somehow it grows in the mouth. It’s very low sweet start is overpowered by very refreshing fruity citrus sour and nicely bitter notes. It’s also a bit soapy. Well balances and a bit spicy with notes of clove, yeast and little sour cherry background. It reveals quite rich flavor after couple sips. Well done and greatly refreshing.

Muddy orange with good, foamy, white head / Mellow, perfumey nose of candied citrus / Medium body, fat with soft carbonation, somewhat malty and sweet but not cloying, with moderate hop balance and good finish / Perfumed flavors of candied orange, passion fruit, pear, straw, rose petals, caramel, and coriander / Very nice in a fuller style.

Goudblond met wit schuim. Geur: Lekker bitterig, sinaas, pompelmoes.
