A delicious hoppy blonde ale. The beer is crisp, dry and refreshing with a delicate grapefruit flavour. An appealing ale for both bitter and lager drinkers.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2014 Cask @ Fat Cat, Bangor. Clear yellow-blond with a creamy head. Has a tropical fruit character with a dominant lemon citrus that lingers in the palate.

Cask at Ye Cracke, Liverpool. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of light citrus and pale malt. Taste has a touch more fruit sweetness, light hop bitter. Clean finish. Decent session ale.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Sweetish, malty golden beer, some apricot type notes with a bready maltiness. Just a little thin. Ok but no wow factor.

Real blonde summer taste, great golden yellow colour and fine head. Citrus, grapefruit, grass and hay. Crisp clean and easy to drink.

Nice tasting blonde ale, taste was mainly citrusy, perhaps a beer I would have again

The Conwy range of beers are one of my ’go to’ beers when I’m in The Lass O’Gowrie in Manchester.

Bullit (4642) - Burgos, SPAIN - AUG 20, 2011
Cask @ The State Bar. Clear light golden colour, white head. Nose is slightly grainy and fruity. Flavour is malty, fruity, citric, fairly bitter. Well carbonated. Dry finish. Ok stuff.

[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Clear golden ale with a decent white head. Grassy, soft aroma, some bitterness on the nose as well. Tastes quite dry and refreshing, some citrus fruit before the dry finish. Ultimately a session blonde ale, does exactly what you’d expect [22072011]

Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 22, 2011
On cask at Cloisters. A clear, light golden ale with a medium white head. Aroma of sweet caramel and yeast. Flavours of yeast, caramel, malt and puffed wheat. Little lingering dryness.

prawlie (1633) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2011
Pint at the 3 Guineas in Reading. Blonde, flat with little head. Light, blonde, fruity aroma. Light, bitter and slightly acidic. Its a bit crap really. Watery and naff. A relief to get in finished.
