Ungstrup (38384) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2006
A pale orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is of brewmash with a hint of oranges, and the flavor is sweet again with primary notes of brewmash, and a touch of citrus. Not that bad.

Bottle, Thanks to Rick for sharing. Clear yellow coloured with a white head. Sweet aroma of malts and corn. Flavour of malts, corn and caramel.

Bottled (Thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of maize and malts. flavour of malts, white bread and grassyness. Refreshing, but quite boring. Mouthdrying.

omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 10, 2006
Draught at various locations on Rarotonga. Clear golden colour, brief head. Grassy nose, sometimes with some strawberry jam added. Sweet with papery maltiness and pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Low to medium bitterness. While this brewers beers aren’t very adventurous at least they try to sell them with being made from good ingredients and being produced with extra care. A respectable tropical lager.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Raratonga. Sweetish start followed by a pronounced marmaladey finish. Brandyish flavours inbetween. Unusual and drinkable.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2007
(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, deep golden with a rough, off-white head. Discreet aroma of lightly sweet malt. Medium body, sweet, bready - almost caramelish - notes. Some nuts in there as well. And Scotch?? Subdued bitterness. I believe this has gotten a bit old, but it’s actually still quite drinkable. Reminds me of Newcastle Brown.... Courtesy of Bov. 270207

Bottle - country tasting - Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006. Pale gold colour. Dull malty character. For a fleeting moment I thought I got a faint whiff of citric hop. To that extent it was marginally better than the Flag from Mali that preceded this. Otherwise, pretty standard tropical pale lager, but fairly drinkable. Thanks to Per for sharing.

Light blond color. Light fruits and cereals aroma. Poor as any other Pale Lager. Thanks Per.

2.8
Oakes (18774) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 15, 2006
Pale straw colour. Lots of haylike hops in the aroma. Light, fizzy body. Sulphur, straw and haylike flavours with a hint of bitterness. Step above average macro, but that’s it.

TBone (18219) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 30, 2006
Bottled as "Captain Cook’s Lager". Hazy golden color, small white head. Buttery, diacetylic nose. Grassy hoppy, butterscotch flavors and suprisingly light alcohol too. Very unclean product - similar to Royal Ikale from Tonga. But new country courtesy of omhper!
