3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Smell of malt with a slight wine taste. Dark clear amber colour. Slight sweetness with bitterness on the end followed by a mild hemp taste Medium-light body with mild carbonation. A decent beer, but hemp is not evident enough to warrant further interest.
Can, Ann Arbor, MI via Mulmur. Clear dark amber. Metallic caramel aroma. Sweet. Caramel flavor. Balanced. Frank (4235) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 7, 2016
This is a clear amber beer w/ a big head. It’s interesting more so than good but it’s still a reasonable thing to drink, I suppose. It’s got a sort of caramel, vanilla, tobacco thing going on. It’s sort of creamy in texture w/ medium carbonation. With some tweaking, this recipe could actually be legitimately good. crossovert (13833) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2016
355ml slim can. Dark amber pour with a frothy creamy long-sticking off-white head. It is a bit carmaally and toasty very light roast. Unnofensive but gimmicky. ChadPoole (479) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 22, 2016
Pours red amber with a very fizzy and quick fading off white head. Small malt aroma. Taste of malts, grain and straw. Not an impressive beer. AleRider78 (1451) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - APR 7, 2016
Comes in a cheap 4 pack. Has a foamy off-white head with a dark amber appearance. Malty aromas, wheats. Watery mouthfeel. Flavours are of weak citrus notes, light malts, some mild spices. If it’s made with hemp, I can’t tell. Nothing too special, but for the price, well worth trying again.

I’m not a lager man. I tried Buzz largely because I was curious about what a hemp beer would taste like. The answer: hay. That’s about it. A thoroughly forgettable beer kept aloft only by the gimmick of putting a marijuana leaf on the can. HopsandBolts (258) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 7, 2015

Appearance: Pours a clear copper colour with little head.
Malt, rye, cereal, yeast.
Mouthfeel: Thinner with low carbonation.
Overall: Lots of malt and I’m getting some rye. An okay beer but not one of my favourites.
Amber clear body with a quickly dissipating head. Bready euro-lager aroma. Some hop bite, reminiscent of a pilsner in character minus the color. Very thin. lesifflebiere (1928) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 19, 2014
HippyHop (688) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 12, 2014
The pour is darker, and prettier, than I expected, but the head disappeared in less time than it takes to change the channel. Nose is grain and caramel, and something in the background that I guess is hemp(ish)? (Some pothead I am.)
Taste is roasted grain and a whole lotta water, with a little bit of bland dryness on the finish. I knew the $5.50 4-pack was too good to be true. And I would like to know what "gold medal" this beer won, and from whom. Whoever it was strikes me as being poorly equipped to award gold medals. Gold stars to kindergarteners maybe.
