bottle. Poured clear pale straw coloured with a slim white head. Light grainy malt aroma. Medium bodied, bready malt flavour. A clean tasting beer and a great price, proof that beer doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to taste good. cyrenaica (1159) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 7, 2010

I tried this beer on December 20, 2009 after purchasing a 4 pack from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent pale yellow with almost no head. The aroma was grainy malt, vomit and acid. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and weakly carbonated. The flavour was weak malt, grainy, and metallic.
On tap at Peppers - the only beer available during a staff party. Came a pale pee yellow with a decent white head. Aroma very sweet, corn-like, not good. Flavour similar, with a faint hint of stale, grassy hops. Corn, rice perhaps. On par with the macros, and seeing as it’s usually cheaper and local, you might as well go with this. But really, if this is the best beer available, you’re in the wrong place... AWS9 (754) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 3, 2009
On tap. Average frothy lager look. Smooth with mild hops, though a pretty sewagey finish. Makes you feel like you need to brush your teeth after. At $3.50 a pint, I couldn’t say no that night. BostonFox (26) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 8, 2009
wow - not a big fan of this here beer. Probably the "corniest" beer I’ve ever had. Tastes like corn flakes. Slight head dissapears almost at once. Sorry to be rude but why whould anybody drink this? Far better options even in the buck a beer lager catagory. I appreciate that raters here are trying to stick up for the little guy but let’s be honest here, this is trying to be an economical macro replacement beer but it isn’t as well made/consistent. Don’t do it!

on tap: mainstream yellow lager with active carbonation and nice lace effect. Grassy, floral nose. Sweet grainy flavour. Dry. Boring. lowg (148) - Scarborough, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 4, 2008
Six pack from LCBO. Pours generic piss yellow with nice frothy head. Aroma of stale cereal and cardboard, yuck. Tastes alright at first but as it as I went on I got that familiar Ontario buck-a-beer harshness. Slightly better than most other cheap beers but not by much. blankboy (7921) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2008
Bottle -- courtesy of GregClow. Fifth beer of the "Not-Very-Good-Beers-Tasting" - Day 2. Pours a clear pale yellow, quite bubbly, with an average size somewhat-lasting white head. Aroma’s sweet, floral and vegetal along with grain, cardboard and light grassy hops. Flavour: Ugh, not very pleasant at all -- it’s watery but that may be a good thing as it doesn’t taste very good. It gets a little better as I get slightly used to it but it’s still not good -- basically it’s watery sweet malt, grain and light grassy hops. Dull City. Light bodied. What can I say? If you drink stuff like Labatt Blue then you may as well drink this, it’s cheaper and probably a bit better but no one will ever mistake it for a quality beer. Avoid. mabel (10002) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 6, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 13, 2008 [850-20071123] 341mL. Smells like a grainy haystack in a cornfield somewhere... covered in old people’s trousers. Clear, pale orange body with a quick foamy white head and a large column of bubbles up the middle. More grassy hay and yeast in the flavour. Light body. Poor. (4/3/4/2/8) 2.1

Bottled extra via gregclow. Yellow in colour with strong carbonation. Slightly floral aroma, but not a whole lot else. A bit more heavy bodied and flavorful than your typical Canadian macro lager, with a bit of malt and sweet grassy character. Better than expected, but still nothing to write home about.
