On tap at Cool Springs poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromasof roasted malt, coffee and chilies. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, light smoke and light chilies with a smooth dry lingering cocoa finish. Rustyham (1836) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - DEC 4, 2012
Very spicy but cool, like ginger. The play between hot and cool is really intriguing. This did damage my palette for a couple minutes, but nothing to violent. The chocolate roastiness really helped smooth out the heat. edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 27, 2012

Brown black pour with light off white head and lace. Aroma of light burnt coffee, roasted malt, and chili peppers. Flavor is burnt coffee, a light pepper warmth. A sweet start that fades to light heat and a bito earthiness. Medium body with good carbonation. Nice beer.
