COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This strong Scottish ale is brewed with malt imported from England. English pale malts, munich malt, caramel malt, and roasted barley give this beer the deep amber color. Traditional English hops are also used in the recipe. The beer is full bodied and rich with a hint of smokiness, sure to satisfy and warm you up on a cold winters evening.

Corny keg at Hamiton Creek. Pours reddish amber with a retentive ivory head. Very nice fruity and malty nose. Lighter side of medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of caramel malts with a tamed herbal/spicy bitterness. Residual sweetness falls within style guidelines. Perhaps a tad thin in the body and mouth feel for my tastes, but still enjoyable.
