Pours an amber copper color, cloudy. Aroma is dark dried fruit, earthy spice, yeast. Medium bodied, raisin/prune, clove, dark cherry and some spice. Pretty average for the style. blahbobbyblah (103) - Texas, USA - MAR 16, 2017
A taster. And just the beginning. A very nice start as I am a sucker for Belgiums. Clareeses (100) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 14, 2017
On draft at Hop Cat. Very odd aroma - almost plant-like mushroom umami. Pours clear amber. Not very carbonated but it feels like more with the kick of heat. Bitter hot pepper initially, has a very savory finish. This doesn’t end up scoring super high for me, but it is definitely unique and worth trying. kathouse (1888) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JAN 19, 2017
On tap at RePUBlic. This is a very nice beer. Copper in color with a frothy head. Aroma of cinnamon, candied sugar, and fruit. The flavors are very nice with the yeast spice complimenting the malts sweetness. Finishes very sweet which is the only real knock I have for this. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - DEC 1, 2016
Can. Copper beer with a dark cream head. Yeast and spice aroma with light fruity esters. Yeast and spice flavor with fruity esters. Medium bodied. Yeast and spice lingers with fruity esters.

Can from blutt59, thanks for the opportunity!
Pours a solid copper with a decent sized frothy off white head that persists. Aromas of dark brown sugar with light spicy yeast and some dark pitted fruits. Spicy earthy yeasty character dominates with a bit of brown sugary toffee maltiness and some light fruits. Pretty nice sipper. HuskerTan (2201) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - DEC 2, 2015
A- Dates, figs, raisins, cherries, dark fruits, slightly sweet, vanilla, boozy.
A- Copper color, clear liquid, off white head.
T- Sweet, caramel, dark fruits, alcohol.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, boozy finish.
O- The aroma was quite nice and full of dark fruits. It did translate into the palate but it was a bit overpowered by alcohol. Complex and tasty enough. MetalNHopHead (1976) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - AUG 30, 2015
I’m not sure I’ve ever had a Belgian Strong Dark Ale from a can before. That’s just one of the things that makes DNR unique. Flavors are pretty damn complex. Fruit, spices, candy-like sweetness, and rich malts. Taste is smooth but you’ll definitely notice the 10% ABV. Interestingly, Cattle Decapitation’s "Do Not Resuscitate" played on my Pandora station at random while writing this review. The beer and metal stars are aligned, I guess. Draft at Great Nebraska Beer Fest. Aroma of caramel candy. Taste is a bit on the swet side, body is light. Decent enough. Bealdavid (1) - Illinois, USA - JUN 25, 2015 does not count
