A straightforward malt body supports the distinctive bouquet of Columbus and Falconers Flight hops that impart citrus, grapefruit and pine notes characteristic of the West Coast style. F5 is a belligerent hop reckoning.

Can. Much better than I expected. Nice kick of fruity hops right out of the can. Clear, golden and bright, ok off white head. Peaches, pine, mango, and grapefruit mix. The taste is clean, hoppy, crisp, and super easy going down.

Tasted from can. Pours a pale mostly clear gold with a thick white head. Strong aroma of orange, mango, melon, grapefruit, lemon. Taste is moderately bitter with nice malt backbone. Taste similar to aroma with some floral notes as well. Pretty well done IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank June 10, canned June 8. Tough to get the beer to Dallas from Oklahoma too much faster. Orange pour with a white head. The aroma is a nice mix of orange and pine, with a bit of tropical fruit. The flavor is similar. There is a nice juicy character plus some bitter, resinous pine. Fairly bitter. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Love it.

Orange and hazy with a white sticky foam. Moderate hop bitterness and a distinctly citrus flavor. Some vegetal matter in the finish.

A very tasty beer. Bottle poured into tumbler. Ok head, no lacing. Interesting flavours but can’t isolate too much.

16 oz can at BRGR in Prairie Village, Kansas. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a 1/2 white head. Nice head retention and lace. The aroma is floral resin, citrus peel bitterness and a bit of malt. The taste is the bitter citrus up front, and Iced Tea Crystal malt taste behind, followed by earthy resin and more bitter. The palate is medium bodied, soft active carbonation and the dry bitter finish.

F5 is the force of nature its name would have you suspect. This is a hop bomb brewed in the West Coast way with enough alpha acids to blast your palate into submission. Grapefruit zest and crisp pine - oh yes, there’s lots of bitter, good stuff in here. Some of Oklahoma’s tornadoes have been rumored to be so powerful they’ve stripped the skin off anyone unfortunate enough to be in their way. This F5 is more benevolent. It’ll just strip the enamel off your teeth.

Can. A- Pineapple, tropical fruits, subtle malts, hoppy. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Pine, bitter, citrus, subtle caramel. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Wanted a lot more citrusy juicy notes than I got but as it warmed the pineapple on the nose really came out. A little bit of caramel helped with the bitterness, but not enough.

Draft at Great Nebraska Beer Fest. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma of cantaloupe and tropical fruit. Taste is juicy, fruity, dank and earthy. Delicious.

12 oz pour from tap into shaker pint at a pizza restaurant in Norman, OK. One of my favorite Oklahoma beers. Golden, slightly hazy, well carbonated. Medium body, creamy. Very hoppy, citrus, pine.
