10/11/13 can given to me in a trade with Derek.
Rich copper color with a big white head. HUGE pine and citrus notes that filled the room as soon as it was opened. Could be the best IPA I've drank after FW Double Jack.

This beer blew me away, it was from a somewhat unknown brewery to me but the flavor of this IPA was outrageous. Get it if you can

Can to pint - pours a nice gold, resilient ivory colored head. Tons of resin and rich florals on the nose, notes of caramel. A hair slick on the tongue, I wanted it to be meatier, pretty good taste though, the malts shine and a pine, bitter hop finish lingers pleasantly with a flash of funk. It’s pretty good. rougeau13 (3080) - Richmond, Texas, USA - JUN 8, 2017
On tap at World of Beer. Aroma of pine, citrus and cracker. Nicely bitter. Medium bodied. Hazy golden with resilient heavy lacing whitish froth. vipinvelp (4471) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2017
Clear yellow, small white foam head. Nice hoppy aroma and great bitter taste. Lasting aftertaste. A great IPA. (Oklahoma City 201705)

Pretty good beer, you can smell the malts right off. Mine was from a can which seemed to have strong pine/spruce flavor but still great. ineedbeer (2171) - Oakland, California, USA - APR 24, 2017
Poured from a 12 oz can with a March 01, 2017 date.
Aroma is fairly malt forward with lots of light caramel, biscuit and cracker malt notes. Moderate grapefruit and pine notes from hops with a hint of alcohol.
Pours a somewhat hazy, copper orange with a medium large, thick, white head that exhibits good retention as it slowly recedes. Moderate lacing and small legs.
Flavor is fairly sweet upfront with some caramel and biscuit malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness with a bit of a bite to it. Some grapefruit and pine resin hop notes. Lingering bitterness, caramel and pine resin.
Mouthfeel is medium to medium full bodied with moderate carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, not a very good IPA. The malt profile is way too prevalent with too much caramel malt. The hop profile is fairly one dimensional and old fashioned as well. I’m glad IPAs have moved away form this hop profile. rader58 (916) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - MAR 9, 2017
12oz can. Pours clear copper color. Aroma of citrus and pine. Flavor of citrus, pine, touch of sweetness. A nice beer. BrownALEx (459) - Portland, Michigan, USA - DEC 22, 2016
Great aroma, citrus hops. Columbus hops steal the show here. Nice pine and citrus taste in this one. Pretty good west coast style ipa. Drinkable. Would get again. Zymurgeist2 (2272) - Redwood City, California, USA - DEC 15, 2016
Maybe a bit of an old can? The Falconer is lost in this beer, and it is one of my favorite brewing hops so I held high hopes for this. Malt has a heavy hand.
