COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gran Sport is a robust porter marked by its finesse and distinct malt backbone. Aromatic notes of chocolate and roasted coffee compliment the full-bodied mouthfeel derived from a healthy addition of oat flakes. Dark. Roasty. Malty. Splendid.

On tap at Main St. Tavern in Broken Arrow. A - Pours pretty much black with 1 finger of tan head that holds average retention. S - Roasted malts, dark cocoa, coffee, toasted nuts. T - Follows the nose but everything is more pronounced. Roasted malt, loads of baker’s chocolate, creamy, hints of berry fruit, fresh coffee grinds, finishes dry and roasty. M - Heavy side of medium body, low carbonation, silky and smooth feel, dry on the finish. Flavors are full and dense. Great finish and very smooth drinker. A great well rounded porter. Always glad to see this on tap. Serving type: on-tap 03-18-2012

On tap. Opaque with a lasting covering of creamy foam. Nose is dry cocoa, caramel, dark roast and a touch of green herb. Tastes of cocoa, coffee, graham cracker and caramel. Near-medium body is smoothly carbonated and balanced by a lightly acidic, bitter finish of roast.

Sampled from the tap at rePUBlic. Pours a clear brown with a brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of dark grains and chocolate with a bit of roasted malts. Flavor starts with chocolate and dark grain but finish is full of roasted malts.

An underrated porter. Nice roasted malt flavor. Deep chocolate color with medium head with one finger’s worth. Nice heavy palate that was quite smooth but not overly filling. Nice upfront roasted flavor that coated the tongue. Hints of nuttiness as well. Surprisingly good.

On draft at Republic in okc. Pours very dark brown with small thin head in a pint glass. Lots of dark choclate malts. Good mouth feel, some nice carbonation, but not too much. A bit heavy for a porter, but a very enjoyable beer!
