Pours with a nice thick creamy head.
Aroma Chocolate, Coffee, maybe a hint of carmel.
Flavor is outstanding. Delicious Chocolate, Coffee notes of the dark roasted malts that you would expect from a porter.Noticeable sweetness but Very well balanced. Incredible thick and velvety mouth feel. I had this beer by itself, but I imagine this beer would go great with some hearty food or even a chocolate desert!
This is an outstanding beer from a new and exciting new brewery in Oklahoma City.
Highly recommended! B33RUNER (1) - rogers, Arkansas, USA - MAR 4, 2015 does not count
smooth porter in taste/aroma and mouthfeel. chocolate/coffee tops the palate. Very underrated porter I would place ahead of the likes of founder or sierra nevada. pours and appearance on the dark side in comparrison to its peers. BLButler08 (12) - Carlsbad, California, USA - AUG 4, 2009
Enjoyed on tap at brewery with a private tour. Very nice dark brown color. The head was perfect, with great german lace. Nice and balanced chocolate and roasted smell. The Porter was a great and balanced Porter. Not a stout for sure, it was done right and I loved drinking it. milljam (682) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 28, 2009
Rich notes of coffee, toffee and chocolate truffle run through the aroma. The flavor is predominately rich coffee and chocolate with a nice roasted finish with mild bitter undertones. Mouthfeel is very creamy. Overall a delicious porter. jaymtee (36) - Georgia, USA - JUL 14, 2011
On draft at Republic in okc. Pours very dark brown with small thin head in a pint glass. Lots of dark choclate malts. Good mouth feel, some nice carbonation, but not too much. A bit heavy for a porter, but a very enjoyable beer!

Draft -Dark roast and dark chocolate. Jet black with a rich light brown head. Roast malts, bittersweet chocolate and a long sweet finish. Well balanced and just well done. kevinator (2444) - The Colony, Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2012
An underrated porter. Nice roasted malt flavor. Deep chocolate color with medium head with one finger’s worth. Nice heavy palate that was quite smooth but not overly filling. Nice upfront roasted flavor that coated the tongue. Hints of nuttiness as well. Surprisingly good. OKplus (787) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 29, 2013
On tap at Main St. Tavern in Broken Arrow.
A - Pours pretty much black with 1 finger of tan head that holds average retention.
S - Roasted malts, dark cocoa, coffee, toasted nuts.
T - Follows the nose but everything is more pronounced. Roasted malt, loads of baker’s chocolate, creamy, hints of berry fruit, fresh coffee grinds, finishes dry and roasty.
M - Heavy side of medium body, low carbonation, silky and smooth feel, dry on the finish.
Flavors are full and dense. Great finish and very smooth drinker. A great well rounded porter. Always glad to see this on tap.

[Tap] Pours a very dark brown color with an inch worth of beige head. Chocolate, coffee and a touch of smoke in the nose. The taste of this brew is heavily of chocolate and molasses. Notes of amaretto and burnt caramel. Thick and full flavored. One interesting thing I found with this beer was a creamy smoothness until the finish, which was quite dry and roasted. Another great Coop beer! unclemike (3160) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - APR 4, 2015
Pours brown with an off-white head. Nose is cocoa, chocolate, roasted nuts, and some fruit quality. Flavor is similar with a medium body and roasted nut and almost dark fruit sweetness. Enjoyable, quaffable porter.
