Draft at McNellies OKC. Very dark amber/brown. Very cold. Nose is malty, candi sugary. Taste is very malty, dry, bitter with a light hop and alcohol profile. Body is a bit sticky. Not bad and drinkable. AmEricanbrew (6954) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JUL 1, 2010
Hazy burnt orange color/ khaki head. Nice nutty, mild roast, spicy caramel aromas. Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Flavor follows nose with a rich nuttiness, mild roast, sweet spicy caramel; nice balance of roasty nuts and caramel spice. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 28, 2010
(Draught) Pours a clear amber body with a medium white head. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, caramel, and a hint of cocoa. Flavor of caramel, roasted malt, biscuit, and light citrus. WesKBob (563) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 2, 2010
Pours a clear amber brown color. Thin white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is wheat bread and caramel. Flavor is roasted coffee malt and a hint of chocolate, with some hop bitterness in the finish. A little hoppier and not as sweet as most ambers. It’s OK, but I just couldn’t get into this one. Growler pour courtesy of BlueOkie. Pours ruby red – amber with meek white head. The aroma is malty, roasty and red apple to plum fruity too. The taste is pretty thin in body bringing up hoppiness from citrus, spice and earthiness. I also get malts and slight roastiness around the edges. Nice stuff. It ends better than it started as the flavors grew on me.

Thanks to BlueOkie for the share. Pours amber with a white head. Nose is malt, biscuit, bread, and citrus hops. Flavor is similar with lingering biscuity malt and a bit of hops. Medium bodied and decent for an amber. sebletitje (10293) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 14, 2010

pours amber, off-white head.
aroma and flavors, nice grainy palate with touch of malts, coffee/roasted finish and a lingering mild hoppy balance.
Simple, yet packed with great flavors. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - AUG 6, 2009
[Tap] Pours a clear amber color with a nice inch of off-white head. A hoppy aroma includes some light citrus and pine and makes you wonder if they brought you the right beer, considering it’s an Amber. Biscuit and light molasses notes in the taste. A good amount of malt in here, but it almost seems like an hybrid of a few beer styles. That being said, I am happy to see such a unique beer being brewed in Oklahoma. Crystal clear, copper color, great head retention and good german lace. A nicely done amber. Not too sweet as most ambers that I have tried. Very crisp and clean. With a nice hop aroma and balanced mouthfeel. I would almost consider this a pale with the amount of hops. I loved it lumpsowers (288) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - MAY 28, 2009
Cloudy copper pour, big head, lots of lace. Low alcoholic aroma. Smokey caramel flavor, with some piny alcohol also. Low carb, but compliments the beer. A nice sweet caramel, with a slight earthy smokiness. Good, not quite as good as the Horny Toad.
