Produced in former "Birra Castello" now "Pedavena" brewery in San Giorgio di Nogaro (UD) it's an easy to drink beer amber, white head with light sweetness, and medium bitterness, medium body, taste of toasted cereal. sinte (604) - Udine, ITALY - JUL 24, 2017
Amber-to-copper body with an average, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with some lacing, though.
Moderate malty (caramel, grains) aroma with notes of spicy alcohol.
Light-to-moderate sweet and light bitter flavour; short alcoholic finish.
Light-to-medium body with watery-to-oily texture; soft carbonation. CaskSensei25 (36) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 18, 2017
Pours reddish brown with thin white top. Aroma is surprisingly intense at first - malts, bread, honey and something sour... Stomach acid? Fortunately, aroma fades after a few minutes and leaves a faint malty and hoppy aroma as any other generic "premium" lager.
Taste is blant - bit salty carbonated water with some malty and hoppy hints. Aftertaste is same as every generic pale lager has - a bit salty, bit biter and very short lasting.
It is drinkable, but I’d rather something else, carbonated mineral water for example.

330ml bottle. Pours clear dark red, medium sized off-white head stays. Aroma is nutty, malty, very sweet, prunes, yeasty. Taste is sweet, prunes, malty, watery, caramelly. Long dry watery finish. Alco is quite well covered. Watery, medium body, average carbo. First sip was promising, but watery lame finish ruins it. GhostS (549) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - FEB 7, 2017

33cl bottle from some Coop supermarket in Tallinn. Pours clear dark amber to copper coloured with a rather modest, off-white head. Caramelly and malty aroma with notes of dried fruits and honey. Sweet and caramelly with a light bitterness. Too sweet for my taste and fairly boring to, but fair enough. suurjuust (3850) - ESTONIA - SEP 18, 2016
Bottle. Clear copper beer, medium off-white head. Nose is malty, caramel, metallic notes, some sweetness. Flavor is semi-dry, malty, slightly dusty, watery, caramel. Finishes dry and watery, if this makes any sense. Drinkable, but completely unremarkable. thirstyrabbit (1862) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 9, 2016
Bottle. Clear copper body, minimal to no head. Aroma has toasted malts and some dry nuttiness. Very watery mouthfeel for the style. Taste has some mild caramel and nuttiness but it just feels wrong to call this a Doppelbock. It’s just a generic amber lager. If you start by accepting that, then it doesn’t feel that bad. But even as an amber lager it feels boring and lifeless. Marduk (8622) - Reval, ESTONIA - AUG 26, 2016
330 bottle. Clear dark copper color. Small size, off-white head, stays. Metallic, sweet, malty, yeasty in aroma. Sweet, malty, caramel, bit of toffee in taste. Caramel, sweet and hop extract in aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Bit messy. phfyysik (1491) - Tartu, ESTONIA - AUG 25, 2016
Pours red/brown with light off-white head. Aroma is toasted bread, berries, malts, grain, some caramel, raisin, dried fruits. Taste is creamy, caramel, some sourness, cowberry, toasted bread, grapes, some wood, nut pie. Good beer!
