Jedno od jeftinijih piva u Švicarskoj. 0.8 franaka. Obzirom na cijenu i nije loše. Kod nas se i za više novaca nađe puno lošije pivo.

Review: 50cl Can of Coop Prix Garantie Lager Bier: ABV: 4.8% Can also be known as The Coop Lager! On pour I get a pretty nice clear golden yellow colour and nice frothy head. It settles well and looks pretty fantastic truth be told. Is this really a cheap supermarket brand, what the hell!!! Bit of carbonation, bubbling away nicely A lovely head that maintains, has good lacing, nice lively carbo, fizzing away, heh this looks good!! Has a nice lagery smell, very nice on the nose. Detected corn and some malts. The taste is surprisingly not bad at all, all things considering, albeit it has a slight sour taste Very strong flavour and sweet to drink with a bitter aftertaste, but for the price it is ok, Can taste corn and starchy pale malts. When you factor in the cost, Coop lager is not bad. Coming at you for about 50 Swiss cents a can, I will drink to that, cheers. Could argue that its better value than its parent company’s main brew (Heineken), which from what I can remember of the top of my head is roughly 2 Francs per can.

Poured from a 50cl bottle at home. Very clear, a pale gold and a pure white head. Cardboard, cabbage and wheat aroma. Strong cardboard flavour. Very mildly sweet. Almost no bitterness. Bodz is medium-light. Very, very weak carbonation.

If I take the relation with the price, it is not a bad beer. The foam is normal for a lager depend how you pour the beer. The color is yellow and clear. At the nose, we feel the alcohol and few malt and when you drink it, you have few malt and hop but the metalic side or alcohol is well-balanced. The final sensation is in the mouth weak but not unplesant. It is just my opinion.

500 ml can. Bought in a Coop in Lausanne. Golden color with an ugly white head. One of those lagers with grass smell but something strong in the end, some kind of dishwasher smell. Taste is not good, but is better than the smell. Is a little acid, but is drinkable, what’s left in your mouth is acceptable. For the price?, meh, i’ll prefer to go with a Tell or an Oettinger that are about the same price in the same supermarket.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2016 0.5l can from coop, 0.50 fr.
pours a clear light golden with a frothy white head and some lacing. aroma of corn. flavour of corn, straw, soap. sweetish and slightly bitter finish. watery. not too offensive, but when speaking of discount beers, denner lager is way better.

(bottle) clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of honey-tinged pale malts, some foral hops and powdered sugar, with a very light hint of candle wax and black pepper. flavour is mostly pale malts and more wax, rather nondescript, with a light touch of banana skins and white grapes. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

(can, thanks to marce for this gem!) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of grainy pale malts, corn, cardboard and some caramel, quite meaty, flavour is mostly starchy pale malts and more corn, with a slightly burnt finish, quite inoffensive. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Canned 500ml. -from Coop (near) Verbier, Switzerland. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, no nose at all. Weak malty, watery, light grainy and that’s it. Like all supermarket beers.

loco_gallego (217) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 6, 2014
Blonde pâle, un peu trouble. Carbonation moyenne.
