Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2016. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. The nose holds ashy roast, baking cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with notes of sugary chocolate, more baking cocoa, mild earthy bitterness. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Draft at the brewery. Pours a nearly opaque coffee brown with small lasting beige head that settles into an island of film and a ring around the edge, leaving heavy lace in the glass. Notes of roasted malts, earth, cocoa, coffee, and tobacco. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a roasty, earthy, slightly bitter and sweet mouthfeel. Nice stout. Nose is dark malt, light spice, chocolate, tar.
Taste comprises toffee fudge, chocolate, light charr, tar, bitter rub.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with roasty bite.

Draft at the brewery. Opaque black coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is roast coffee, nutty malts, ash, burnt toast. Flavour is composed of dry ashy roast, black malts, roasted barley, burnt toast, ashy. Palate is dry, medium light, little thin, highish carbonation. Drying finish. Lingering bitter roast.
