Dark, sweet, and delicious. Slightly bitter in the finish and a little on the thin side, but it does have some good offerings of chocolate, coffee, and spices. Id drink again.

Pours black with little head. Aroma is sweet caramel and butterscotch. This isnt thick at all - it is actually quite light bodied. A smoky saltiness leads to a bitter coffee finish. A pretty average stout.

Pours a handsome dark brown with a nice dark beige head. Very pleasant sherry aroma. Roasted and malty, a bit thin mouthfeel.

Bottle. Faint aroma of caramel. Fruity flavor with some caramel. Not very roasted, but nice nonetheless. Thin mouth feel, and too carbonated.

Chocolate malty stout. little hoppy. very carbonated even after letting sit. sorta what youd expect of austrailain beer. very strong at first but weaker on the backside.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2005 Dark pour with thick but little foam. Deep, musty, semi-sweet chocolaty taste. Well balanced and smooth drinking. Soft and relatively light for a stout, but I enjoyed it. Good to turn non-stout drinkers on to the genre. [$9.99/6pk]

Poured a light black color. Malty sweet aroma with some fruit. A little crisp apples. Roasted flavors and a light bitter finish that ran the same length as the malt finish. Mild alcohol taste at the end. Light and smooth.

This bottle poured a rich, black liquid with a medium fizzy light brown head that did not last very long however it did leave some lacing on the glass. It presents a very full aroma with sweet toffee, dried fruit and chocolate. Although the mouth feel is slightly thin, the initial flavor is of rich, smooth roasted malts with a hint of chocolate and coffee. The middle and finish are earthy with a nice bitterness.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2005 This is really some smooth, creamy stuff. It pours out thick and black with a foamy brown head with huge roasted aromas, chocolate, malt, and coffee. It has a lively mouthfeel, well carbonated and slightly hoppy. The taste is rich roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate. Im repeating myself. This is good, even with the heavy residue seemingly so characteristic of Coopers beers.
