Bottle from Stirchley Wines and Spirits. Jet black, very small head. Liqueur coffee aroma. Rather tasty: a mixture of flavours, including acidic coffee notes. Grainy and fizzy on the tongue, with a an overall sweet oatiness. Jellybean finish.

Bottled. Very smoky aroma to this thick black beer with absolutely no head. The taste is roasty, stouty and yeasty. An enjoyable stout but brewed a bit safe

Black with little specks thoughout. Grape jelly on burnt toast aroma. Very tasty - perhaps a training version of an Imperial? Sweet, coffeee, burnt toast, prunes flavors. Messy, earthy finish. Very nice, and actually seems to go with warmer weather.

Pours black as night with a small tan head. The smell is very malty, coffee with a hint of chocolate and smokiness. Sits on the palate nicely. Very mellow for a stout. Good beer.
