Rich Black pour. Has an Aroma of coffee. Has a sweet coffee taste. Overall its a bit thin for a stout. Has a bitter dry after taste. It was an ok stout.
I never used to like stouts but I’m slowly changing my mind and this one is helping me do that!

Bottle from a Melbourne Coles Liqourland. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is sweet roasty caramel malt, chocolate, coffee, liqourice, dry hop. The flavour is liqourice bitter with a roasty, dry smoke, charcoal liqourice palate and a dry liqourice bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Better than the aged version IMO. coil (126) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2017
375ml bottle from The Grumpy Goat, Reading. Very dark brown colour with beige head. Roasted malts, liquorice, light rye bread, dark chocolate, Americano, dates. BadAprilia1000 (437) - Sevierville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 25, 2017
Pours a gorgeous dark brown color with a perfectly 1 inch thick head into a tulip glass. Aroma is chocolate, licorice, warm spices, dark fruit, earthy, very roasty. Taste is dry chocolate up front with a smooth dark red fruit/berry note in the middle finished with a great slightly drying bitter note. Overall a fairly drinkable beer with pleasant roasty fall/winter flavors. mithe (1856) - Opava & Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 12, 2017

From old tasting notes. Black brown color. Thick creamy tan head. Spicy roasted malt nose. Rich sweet roasted chocolate malt flavor. Overly sweet, yet drinkable. doriangrey (76) - Diamond Creek, AUSTRALIA - APR 16, 2017
Strong but lacking the bite or flavour of a strong beer. Some liquorice but otherwise slightly bland and watery. I’d take it over many other beers though JuanFlk80 (329) - Oviedo, SPAIN - APR 14, 2017
