COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

Bottled. Really enjoyed this.Very nice light fruity full flavour nose. the beer does not live up the the quality of the nose but is still good. very smooth for a 5.8% beer. easy to drink and for something bottled conditioned in oz travels extremely well good stuff

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2017 Hazy brown/yellow pour. Smell is dish soapy lemon, some yeast and malt. Taste pretty much the same. Thin to medium bodied. Can't say it's a bad beer, but what it is then....sorry, couldn't tell ya.

Sorry but really not a fan if this brew from coopers, the initial taste just didn’t do it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from a Coles Liqourland, Melbourne. Poured a clear straw colour with a short-lived fizzy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is skunky cardboard malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry crisp, woody, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

375ml bottle. Hazy golden with a small white head. Malty, caramel, herbal and fruity.

0.375 l bottle from 'Bier & Beer', best before June 2018. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, floral and a little fruity aroma of grains, lychee, some honey and a touch of yeast. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, floral, grassy and a little fruity taste of lots of grains, straw, some honey and a touch of citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy-dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Okay golden ale. Dry and a little grassy. Has an earthy, strangely empty finish. Tried for the first time back in 2009.

Bottle @ Drover's Dog (1, East). Deep golden color, just slightlt hazy. White head, not much and short retention. Aroma's: herbal hops, light malts, light spice. Retronasal it's malty, grainish, light fruit and light bitter. Flavor is light caramel sweet , a bit fruity, light bitter. Light medium bodied. Mild bitter finish. Bottle could have been a bit fresher (just days from the bb date), but I still liked it, as I did when I occasionally had this in the late 80's.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2017 Bottle at home. Pours cloudy, trying to get as much out without disturbing the pellet. Golden red in colour with bubbles but poor head retention. Smells like my early failed attempts at brewing from a kit. Yeasty with a fruity undertone. I love this beer! Nothing complicated. Marmite flavour maltyness, nicely balanced, too 'sparkling' maybe a hint of earthy bitterness. Lovely simple quirky beer that I wish pubs sold for the session.
