3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Rolled and pours cloudy orange gold with decent fluffy off white head and good lace. Aromas of bread, dough, pears, herbs, grains and a light malt sweetness. Medium light body, herbal, lightly tart character a good bitterness balanced with a malt sweetness. Refreshing, tasty and iconically and characteristicly Australian, finishing with a good hint of POR and zesty carbonation.
Pours a cloudy orange with lively head and high carbonation along woth plentynof yeast floating about despite having left the rsstninnthe bottle.
Aroma is malty marmelade, caramel, orange peel and grass. Taste is quite sweet with some bitterness in a soapy medium finish amid light body.
Much better than expected, certainly compared to their standard brew. tomandoaltura (346) - - NOV 21, 2017
Cerveza de alta nubosidad con un buen carácter frutal en nariz y boca. Fermentación muy limpia. Gran carbonatación. kraddel (8901) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 18, 2017
Happy to try the ( only ? ) Original Australian Sparkling ale. Educative reasons, but I do hope it's to be enjoyable on its own as well. Pours darker blonde, to light amber. Very clear. No head. Smell is low to medium low intensity, mild maltyness. Bit of caramel. No hoparoma, no yeast profile. Taste is malty, mild caramel, some white bready notes as well. Shows light signs of oxidation in this given example ( best by 11/02/2018 ) medium to low intensity on the taste profile. Yeast addition makes the beer very, very cloudy. Loads of yeast in the sediment ! It makes the overall taste more full, tad fruity indeed. Still on the bitter side in the aftertaste, long lasting. Nice ale, but I can understand why geeks dont psych out about this. Mpuntmuts (283) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 10, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2017 Hazy brown/yellow pour. Smell is dish soapy lemon, some yeast and malt. Taste pretty much the same. Thin to medium bodied. Can't say it's a bad beer, but what it is then....sorry, couldn't tell ya. Eddie1976 (125) - - OCT 20, 2017
Sorry but really not a fan if this brew from coopers, the initial taste just didn’t do it.

Bottle from a Coles Liqourland, Melbourne. Poured a clear straw colour with a short-lived fizzy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is skunky cardboard malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry crisp, woody, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - SEP 26, 2017
375ml bottle. Hazy golden with a small white head. Malty, caramel, herbal and fruity. Zlotta (3826) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2017
0.375 l bottle from 'Bier & Beer', best before June 2018. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, floral and a little fruity aroma of grains, lychee, some honey and a touch of yeast. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, floral, grassy and a little fruity taste of lots of grains, straw, some honey and a touch of citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy-dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice! ads135 (5031) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 16, 2017
Okay golden ale. Dry and a little grassy. Has an earthy, strangely empty finish. Tried for the first time back in 2009.
