12 fl.oz bottle.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Vintage 2015. Hazy amber brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dark fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. 210917

Cloudy amber color; generous head, compact. Aroma of caramel and sugar, lightly soapy. Ordinary body strength; it has caramel flavor, and unfortunately also a metallic touch, that makes the final a bit harsh; a high yeast presence also makes it a bit astringent; there are also traces of sweet liquorice and vegetables. Nothing spectacular here.

2004 bottle from Utobeer. Cloudy chestnut colour with lasting white head. Excellent hop aroma. Good malts too. I like it. Good balance and nice flavours

375mL bottle, pours murky orangey dark brown with a medium beige head and lots of sediment floating throughout. Aroma of butterscotch, caramel malts, grains and some fruits. Mouthful is extremely smooth and creamy, with flavours of dominant butterscotch, caramel, biscuit and light fruitiness. Excellent!

Oakes (18543) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 4, 2003
Muddy brown. Aroma - banana, vanilla, slight medicinally phenols. Mango, date and passion fruit esters. Yeasty and phenolic palate. Dryish finish shows some alcohol.

Bottled 375ml, vintage 2004 (best after 04/2008)
Nut brown, small tan head. Plums, licorice in the nose. Alcoholic, fruity with plums, dates. Foamy carbonation. Bitter alcoholic aftertaste with licorice notes. Nice Westvleteren 12 clone.

Bottle. (2006 vintage) Deep golden pour, with microfloaties bluring the body, and a beige head on top. Fruity and caramelly aroma and flavor with some beef-stock. It finishes fruity, with caramel and some roasted malt. Medium body. Quite nice, with a pleasant balance between fruit and caramel. I would like a full body and more pronounced flavor and aroma though. (070809)

355ml bottle - thanks Marduk!
Lovely dry woody nutty aroma. This is English, right? Nottingham yeast? Anna gets apples, I don’t. Lovely woody body, slight nuttiness. Even more nuts in the finish. Soft palate, smooth, pleasant soft carbonation. Damn, this is so English, I love it. Nuttiness, dryness. I want more of this beer. The other fuckers drank it, and they like it less than me. Bastards.
