Brewed with choice malts and an extended top fermentation. This naturally conditioned ale experiences interactions between the robust malt, hop and yeast characteristics, to exhibit an intriguing journey of flavour development over a period of five years when stored under cellar conditions.

Strong vinous nose; hazy medium amber, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing; aroma roasted malts, caramel, nutty notes, raisins; medium to light heavy sweet and light to medium bitter, malty, caramel, spicy notes, quite woody; malty sweetbitter aftertaste, roasty, woody and spicy notes, bit alcoholic; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; nice but still too young, has quite some potential...

2016 Vintage Drank mid 2017. Aroma - Sweet malt smell, caramel, some dark fruit, dried dates, bubblegum, raisins. Appearance - Pours deep gold to pale amber, hazy and a weak off white head Taste - bready, toasty, caramel flavour, some citrus, orange, bubblegum, raisins and some banana. Mouthfeel - medium full to full body, low carb and a creamy feel that leaves a oily feel in your mouth Overall - A great beer packed with tons of difference flavours..love the yeast flavours coming out in this beer, the slight bubble gum and banana really fit in well with all the heavy malt flavours.

Vintage 2010 drucken 2017-05-28. Ljust brun med litet skum. Doftar ljusa torkade frukter, här finns en sötma som växer när ölet blir varmare, så småningom framträder tydliga toner av kvittenmarmelad. Även smaken har många torkade frukter av ljust slag, komplex smak med fin sötma. En riktigt läcker strong ale. Man borde haft en yngre att jämföra med men jag antar att komplexiteten har kommit av lagringen.

Piana żółta, niska, szybko opada do firanki. Barwa bursztynowo herbaciana, mętna. Aromat słodki, słodowy, sporo karmelu, brązowego cukru, miodu, suszonych gruszek i rodzynek. W smaku podobnie, półsłodkie, daktylowo winogronowe, nieco ziołowe, pełne ale dość pijalne, nie gęste, z niską do średniej, migdałową goryczką i średnim, drobnym nagazowaniem.
Całkiem udany trunek, zdecydowanie po słodowej stronie, fajnie utleniony, dojrzały. Mogło by być nieco bardziej oleiste i mniej wysycone, ogólnie jednak takie koncerniaki to ja mogę pić :)
