Tap. Pours clear black with a medium, creamy tan head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy bourbon, chocolate, toast and caramel malt, dark fruity esters. Flavor is subdued bourbon, medium caramel and chocolate malt with dark fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium to full body, medium carbonation.

On tap @ Coopersmiths. Black appearance with a frothy, dark brown head. Somewhat boozy, oaky, whiskey, roasty dark malty nose. Creamy, again somewhat boozy, whiskey, oak, light vanilla, roasty, slighty burnt dark malty flavor. Roasty, medium boozy, whiskey finish. Good but not great. On tap at Coopersmiths poured a tranalucent dark brown with a lasting creamy brown head. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt, bitter chocolate, oak, light bourbon and light vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish.
