Clear light brown color, small white head. Mild cascade aroma. Flavor is lacking. Some fruity hints with a suble bitterness. Poor example of the style. PorterPounder (8086) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 16, 2003
Decent, quaffable light ale. Has a pleasant medium gold appearance with a slight head. The aroma has hints of mown grass with some hints of Saaz hops. Tart, slightly fruity flavor. A bit clingy and starchy on the aftertaste. Aurelius (5380) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 16, 2003
An odd tart, kumquatty aroma. Decent label, orange-amber beer, cool cap. Tastes very much like it smells, oddly fruit-tart. Medium long tangy, hop finish with medium mouthfeel. jgb9348 (6325) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 13, 2003
Light amber/copper colour with a super dense white head. Aroma of vegetables, malt, a bit of hops and some residual sweetness. Medium to Light-bodied; Slight fruity sweetness with a predominant malt character and a subtle hoppiness throughout. Aftertaste shows some drying character and a bit of a spicey finish. Overall, a sub-par APA, but not the absolute worst either. All-in-all, a decent beer, but if you want a really good beer by this brewery, go with the BackYard IPA! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York and sampled it on 13-December-2003. goz (358) - Chelmsford, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 7, 2003
Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small white head that quickly diminishes to nothing, leaving tiny bits of lace. Aroma is fairly boring and mild, mostly just sweet. Flavor is also quite boring, slightly sweet, with a tiny bit of floral hops showing up for the end. Body is quite light.

a nice golden, borderline apa. pretty gold color lots of fizzy head. As a golden it rates pretty well. one to have when your having more than three dirtymike (2016) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 8, 2003
At the brewery...ah Ringwood at work here, as this is there house strain and it's evidant in all their beers, some work ok with it,while others...well,go try them for yourself. hotstuff (5175) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 2, 2003
There is nothing fancy about this beer, but it is a decent beer to drink. The appearance was a medium sized ivory creamy and rocky head that consisted of fine-small sized bubbles. The body was slightly hazy and it had a lot of fizzy and lively carbonation. The hue was orange and this beer left a good lacing on the sides of my glass. The nose was malty, hoppy, fruity and citrus. The flavor was lightly hoppy, tart and it had a bit of an aftertaste. The mouthfeel was smooth, thin and light bodied. thedm (6222) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 21, 2003
This brew poured a small head os fine to medium sized off-white mostly diminishing bubbles that left a fair lacing and a carbonated transparent amber colored body behind. Its aroma is a nice malt hop mix and its mouthfeel is tingly with a dry sweet finish. The flavor is mild and overshadowed by the tingly mouthfeel. Underneath it there is a mild bitter malt hop flavor trying to come out and play ball. mribm (462) - Ocala, Florida, USA - AUG 16, 2003
Bottled. Creamy white head, amber colored body, musty smell and somewhat bland taste. Not a lot of hops for a pale ale, but it was a good tasting beer.
