2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light copper color with very little head. Still had decent carbonation level and a very sweet/malty aroma. Slightly tart/sour with caramel malts coming through. More of an english pale ale, but balance is off.
Bottle. Pours cloudy rich orange with large foamy light beige head, caramel malt aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter caramel taste, smooth body, medium malty finish with a bit of citrus. Very smooth and drinkable. gripweed57 (2868) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 29, 2017
From old tasting notes. Hazy Amber orange color. Creamy beige head. Robust toasted malt nose. Spicy toasted malt flavor. Crisp dry herbal hop finish. generallee08 (778) - New York, USA - SEP 16, 2014
The body has a slightly hazy look with a good amber color and a creamy off white head. The two finger head slowly settles as I drink and makes some spotty lacing on the glass. It has a nice blend of bready maltiness with a pleasant butterfinger like caramel/toffee sweetness and citrus/grassy hops. It starts with a good base of bready malt and very light toasted grain. This is balanced buy mildly bitter hops that add a touch of citrus and grassy flavor to the overall character. It finishes with a mild bitter fade on a smooth yet well carbonated medium body. berkshirejohn (6660) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2014

Pours copper with an aroma of citrus and pine. Flavor of citrus, pine, and touch of hop bitterness at the back end. Decent, but unimpressive. Headbanger (4021) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Draft 7/30/13 (Cooperstown)-Pours a copperish body with a small head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. berniecarbo (148) - Holliston, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 4, 2013
When in Cooperstown, have to try an Old Slugger, great label, average beer. Pours amber with off white foamy head, minimal hops, medium body. Fun brewery to visit. j12601 (13123) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours a hazed amber brown with a medium sized white to beige head and some small floaty bits. Smells infected and papery, diryt old malt. Medium bodied, sweet and oxidized, old dirty paper and prunes. Bitter paper into the finish. Not good. bigguns22 (803) - Maryland, USA - OCT 19, 2012
