The body has a slightly hazy look with a good amber color and a creamy off white head. The two finger head slowly settles as I drink and makes some spotty lacing on the glass. It has a nice blend of bready maltiness with a pleasant butterfinger like caramel/toffee sweetness and citrus/grassy hops. It starts with a good base of bready malt and very light toasted grain. This is balanced buy mildly bitter hops that add a touch of citrus and grassy flavor to the overall character. It finishes with a mild bitter fade on a smooth yet well carbonated medium body.

When in Cooperstown, have to try an Old Slugger, great label, average beer. Pours amber with off white foamy head, minimal hops, medium body. Fun brewery to visit.

Bottle. Pours a hazed amber brown with a medium sized white to beige head and some small floaty bits. Smells infected and papery, diryt old malt. Medium bodied, sweet and oxidized, old dirty paper and prunes. Bitter paper into the finish. Not good.

Draft at the pit in Cooperstown . I did not have high expectation for this beer so when I drank it and loved it it was a pleasant surprise. Amber to cooper in color with a nice white head. Malty and sweet with a ton of butterscotch flavors. Finsh is smooth and creamy great malt lovers beer.
