Pours a fizzy light yellow color. Aromas of corn and little else. Low-carb = low flavor. Ive had flavored water with more body than this crap.

12 oz bottle. Oh come now guys, you're really over-slamming this above average effort from poor lil' ol Coors. Appearance: bubbly apple juice. Sweet corn nose, not as stale as I’d expect. Very little flavor though not as nauseating as many. Sweet, no malt or hops to speak of, faky, but seems more beerlike than other low-carbs. Nasty metallic bitterness at the end derails a fine fine effort.

The aroma is stronger than the taste and thats not saying much. The appearance is pale golden and the head is fizzy and fades fast. The palate is thin. However weak it may be the taste is not bad. Its just malt and a little bitterness that is somewhat like club soda. There is not much you can say about this beer.

Weak watery aroma. A bit sweet, but like a glass of cold milk. Light yellow clear, no head. Weak thin body with medium-high carbonation. Light carbonic taste, no hops, no malt. Finish is non-existent, as is after. It tastes like mildly salty soda water. Horrible. No carbs, no taste.

Poured a rather surprisingly deep color of yellow-orange (rich in color compared to Michelob Ultra). Sweet adjunct aroma, classic cheap-beer smell. The flavor was sweetish with a bit of malt, lots of carbonation, thin flavor with a moderately thin palate. After drinking about a third of the bottle, I set my glass on the table and walked away for a bit. When I came back there was a nearly-dead fly swimming in it. That grossed me out and I threw the rest of the glass away. Just as well, really.

bottle - Theres little to say about this beer. Like others of its ilk, it tastes slightly stronger than club soda. Its relatively inoffensive, except for the fact that Im offended that I paid for beer and got this stuff. Dont bother.

Bottle. Low carb equals low taste and this fizzy attempt at beer succeeds in being completely barren of all beer qualities.

It was better than Michelob Ultra. Enough nice things about this abomination though. Admittedly a bit more golden than the normal light beer, head died fast. Aroma very faintly of wet cardboard. Flavor was almost nonexistant. They seemed to have used some sort of bizarre adjunct in an attempt to artificially beef up the body a bit. Overall it was reminiscent of soda water that had been filtered through a bed of Cheerios.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2005 In the bottle. This was the free beer offering at a high school graduation party. I thought Id take the chance and try something that I would never ever ever purchase. Looks and pours just like it should- urinesque. The dominant flavor is sodium. Possibly sodium bicarbonate? Drink this cold, perhaps at liquid nitrogen temperature? If I could melt the glass bottle and drink it, I bet it would be easier on the palate.

What did you expect Pete to do? Ignore the popularity of the low-carb lifestyle fad? Well, maybe he should have. This is water with calories. Should fade into obscurity along with the other low-carb offerings. (Hey, if youre drinking beer to lose weight, well, buddy, I have a bridge to sell you.)
