What did you expect Pete to do? Ignore the popularity of the low-carb lifestyle fad? Well, maybe he should have. This is water with calories. Should fade into obscurity along with the other low-carb offerings. (Hey, if you’re drinking beer to lose weight, well, buddy, I have a bridge to sell you.) Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - APR 10, 2004
Clear and golden-yellow with a fizzy and quickly fading head. Beery, sweet creamed-corn nose. Super lively carbonation. Dry, seltzer-water bitterness / synthetic finish. No major negatives to complain about (other than being a little corny), but it doesn't offer any positives either. Beerlando (3343) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 13, 2007
Sucks. Very watery. Typical macro ultra-light lager. Very little aroma or taste. mjg74 (3182) - La Mesa, California, USA - SEP 9, 2004
Pours pale yellow in color, with little or no head. Smells watery and of sour grain. Tastes like watered down lousy macro brew with a splash of apple juice thrown in for good measure. Not good. Shag (3045) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - APR 20, 2004
Sampled at the Hooters Restaurant on Brainerd Rd next to the Gooney Golf. Light yellow appearance. This tastes EXACTLY like a Coors Light! It tastes like water. There is no reason why this beer should even exist. Overall not as bad as Ultra but still bad. At least being surrounded by Hooters girl made the experience of drinking this beer slightly better, I think.

If you are a beer drinker and you need to lose weight drink this........oh nevermind.........you’re not that fat!!!! PhillyBeer2112 (2895) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2004
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2004 Everything you expected and less. A perfect beer for sampling at a festival when you essentially don’t have to pay for it. Ugh. A little darker in color than expected though. Possibly not the worst low carb beer though. ABUSEDGOAT (2852) - California, USA - JUN 14, 2005
UPDATED: AUG 23, 2005 This isn’t beer. Don’t drink it. Can’t quite point five it, but it comes pretty damn close. You’d think this would be like $.30 a can, but it’s about 3x that. austinpowers (2831) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 2, 2004
This is the most abysmal beer backwash I've rated in years. Coors has thoroughly embarrassed itself with this water-flavored drink. It is thin beyond words, and is far worse than the Rolling Rock Green Light and Michelob Ultra that it competes against. There is nary a hint of beer flavor here, yet its color is a pretty gold, so some trickeration is clearly afoot. Very much like Seltzer water. Appalling. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - APR 29, 2004
Well, about the only thing this one has going for it is it tastes better than Ultra and Green Light, but do not believe the hype, this beer still sucks. Pours slightly darker than its other low - carb candidates, lots of corn and rice adjuncts here, with a watery toasted malt taste every once in awhile. Bottom line, pass this one up.
