This has to be one of the most awful beers I have ever tasted, no aroma, no color, no flavor, no aftertaste, no nothing, there is absoutely nothing to this beer, I really wish this low-carb trend would go away so brewers would stop producing this crap, it's a waste of ingredients & resources (not that Coors is very effecient with either one of those in the first place), after about halfway through this bottle I wanted to stick a fork in my eye, I would like a refund of the money I worked so hard to earn, I feel cheated & used (but then again being used isn't all that bad, in some situations anyway :) )

12oz bottle. Just another weak watered down macro brew thats not even good for pounding. They took crappy Coors and made it worst.

Tasted on the Coors brewery tour - they say it doesn’t get any fresher or served any colder than this (Wow). Hazy pale golden appearance, no odor. Grainy light flavor, but surprisingly a touch of flavor. Nothing exciting but better than its competitors.

Pours very light golden with a fully receding white head. Aroma of very light malt and adjunts. Taste is watery and bland. Mouthfeel is extremely thin bodied and fizzy. Nasty drain pour.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2005 Rename the beer to Coors Extra Light i think it sounds alot better and captures the essence of this beer.

Bottle. Well kinda golden i guess. Almost my interest for beers. Sterile and exremely boring. Maybe people in very hot areas would half like it.

I tried this simply to obtain another rating. First off I was surprised how good this actually looked when poured into a shaker glass. Golden body and medium head. Nothing in the sense of flavor or aroma. Better than a Michelob Ultra if that helps anyone decide which one to try.

I actually found a beer worse than rolling rock. I thought beer had flavor. Usually beer has flavor. Aspen has none. Hello, where are the hops? did they forget to put it in? There was some malts in it, but a very light presence. I drank it from the bottle, being to afraid to see the color. Its not easy going up to a girl in a bar and ask her to dance with a glass of urine in your hand. IMO this beer doesn't even erserve the .5 it is going to get.

Crystal-clear golden with a soda pop head that just fizzes away. There’s not much going on in the aroma and flavor, but what ISN’T there (in its defense) are adversities: no DMS, no diacetyl, no metallics, not even corn. Flavor is simply very light malts and the performance is fast and crisp. This beer is not at all satisfying, but it’s really not that bad.

The beer for those who really don’t want to drink a beer... virtually colorless ,odorless and tasteless...just like carbon monoxide.
