I actually found a beer worse than rolling rock. I thought beer had flavor. Usually beer has flavor. Aspen has none. Hello, where are the hops? did they forget to put it in? There was some malts in it, but a very light presence. I drank it from the bottle, being to afraid to see the color. Its not easy going up to a girl in a bar and ask her to dance with a glass of urine in your hand. IMO this beer doesn't even erserve the .5 it is going to get.

This is a really bad marketing gimmic trend that needs to die. Here we have a crystal clear yellow beer with the texture of water ... it's sole somewhat appealing characteristic is its activity, but after about 2 seconds it results in absolutely zero head. This has the barest of malt aromas. Now I've said this before about other bad beers, but this time I really mean it: THIS IS HAS ABSOLUTELY NO REDEEMING VALUE WHATSOEVER ... NO FLAVOR ... NO BODY ... NO HOPE. austinpowers (2828) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 2, 2004
This is the most abysmal beer backwash I've rated in years. Coors has thoroughly embarrassed itself with this water-flavored drink. It is thin beyond words, and is far worse than the Rolling Rock Green Light and Michelob Ultra that it competes against. There is nary a hint of beer flavor here, yet its color is a pretty gold, so some trickeration is clearly afoot. Very much like Seltzer water. Appalling. obxdude10 (2324) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 2, 2004
This has to be one of the most awful beers I have ever tasted, no aroma, no color, no flavor, no aftertaste, no nothing, there is absoutely nothing to this beer, I really wish this low-carb trend would go away so brewers would stop producing this crap, it's a waste of ingredients & resources (not that Coors is very effecient with either one of those in the first place), after about halfway through this bottle I wanted to stick a fork in my eye, I would like a refund of the money I worked so hard to earn, I feel cheated & used (but then again being used isn't all that bad, in some situations anyway :) )

Very little head. No aroma. Slightly bitter taste, but not hops. Finishes like dilute unswwetened lemonade. Piss poor.

AWFUL! But I had to try it: never saw or heard of it before. No head, no body, no armoa. Hmm, wonder what it's gonna taste like... that's right: NOTHING! Finishes about as tasty as wet cardboard. beerlover82 (241) - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 15, 2004
Got a free sample at bar: pale, watery yellow (not surprisingly) with "head" (if you can call it that) that quickly fades out.No aroma that I can speak of, overly carbonated and very watery. Really not any flavor here folks. This low-carb trend needs to DIE. It's bad enough the big mass-produced brands sell the most. scoobyluv (511) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - APR 23, 2004
mmm mmm mmmm. nothing better than a beer that is crappier than coors light. take heed, ratebeerians, i have found such a beer and it's made by the same company. pissy yellow color with a minimal head. smells and tastes of adjuncts in low carb form. i am deeply disturbed by this beer. it really has a weird funkyness to the taste. daddy, i'm scared. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - APR 29, 2004
This crap should never be avaiable to the public. The smell almost had a tiny amount of hops. Not sure about the hype that other raters mention. It is a light gold like a yellow shirt that has been washed 1000 times without Cheer. Tasted like a club soda. This can compete with Busch NA for bad beers. Abosolutely awful. civforprez (229) - Galesburg, Illinois, USA - MAY 1, 2004
The only good thing to say about this beer is that it doesn’t taste like urine like most other Coors products. But I do ’t get any of the stuff about it being better than other low carb beers. Little color and no taste.
