crvkorn (15) - dillon, South Carolina, USA - OCT 2, 2000
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2003 one of my most favorite beers...great taste and everything..................

2.2
Gusler (2652) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 7, 2000
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2004 The beer on the pour from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass the archetypal lager golden yellow with a smallish bright white and semi-creamy head with the left over lace a thin concealing sheet. Nose is malt sweet and crisp the start lightly sweet and has a thin grain profile with the top is light. Finish is stern in its acidity with the hops apropos to the style

Amazing. Amazingly close to Bud, that is. Had a little more color (not much), so that's worth an extra appearance point, I suppose.

This is the beer that water is made of. It has almost no taste (in any form) and is perpetually disgusting from one sip to the next.

Very average, watery American brew. This is the stuff to drink on a 100 degree day while BBQ-ing steaks...

Wait, you mean Coors isn't one of those fancy flavored waters? I assumed they had done all the fruit flavors and had started branching into beer flavored water.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2008 Recently tried one of these in the can. It poured with a fizzy head that faded fast (before I could even throw away the can). Appearance-wise, it looked like apple juice (no lasting head or lace at all). Carbonation was milder than I remember -- much less than other macro beers. Big elements of creamed corn, DMS, musty grains and white rice. Other off-putting notes of butter and sulfur. Hardly any hop aromas, flavors or bitterness to speak of (somewhat herbal, if anything). Boring and bland.
