So I'm studying for the BJCP exam, and the first category is American light lagers. This is why I am rating this beer. This was actually the best beer in this category I sampled (kind of like being the pitcher with the highest batting average in baseball). Some light fruit, hoppy presence in the nose. No flavor whatsoever, dry finish. I can't believe this is one of the most popular beers in America.

The worst of the light beers I have had. There is really no flavor at all. It tastes like corn and formaldehyde.

blech!!! i just need that alcohol so much so that i can forget about my ugly ass wife and the utterly depressing life that i lead. what does the t.v. tell me to drink today? coors light? maybe i'll stop by McDonalds on the way home for some 100% pure beef hearts.

Well, it's from Coors and its light...doesn't that say it all, really? However, to compare with other big name lights, I prefer this to Bud light and put it about even with Miller lite.

It's cheap beer night at the ranch. This one pours a clear, pale yellow color with a fizzy white head. No aroma to speak of, except for some carbonation bubbles popping and spewing corn water in your face, but I guess that isn't really an aroma. The flavor? Well, there is none. Goes down easy enough when ice cold, but warm it up and it makes me dry heave. Excellent beer for the mass majority of Americans.

Highly recommended over Coors regular. Can't believe they come from the same brewery. Fair flavor and can be tolerated when someone else is buying.

Good cheap beer. Not a bad flavor, feels pretty good oing down, but one can spend a little more and do better.

Basically flavourless, hopless etc. They say this is an old mans beer. I think it sells to those who want a beer and their choice is limited between this Bud and Canadian.

Top choice for a cheep domestic, great to cut the lawn or shovel snow by or drink mass amounts of at a bond fire.

This is probably my favorite light macro brew which makes it drinkable on 90+ days at the golf course. Little aroma, carbonated beyond belief, a little flavor if served at room temperature, and a watery palate.
