I have a soft spot for Coors Banquet Beer. It is a classic American lager. The flavor is very grainy and yet enjoyable. It has some body to it, adequate for the style and more than its competitors. I like this with a hearty burger and especially fresh off a tap out west.
I don’t see what everyone’s problem with this beer is it is way better than the original and the smooth taste from a cold glass bottle is the only way to truly experience and enjoy this beer ChadPolenz (1827) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - AUG 12, 2017

2015 BJCP Category: 1B American Lager
AROMA: Genuine barley smell with slight sweetness. Corn cereal grist adds subtle sweetness. Faintest trace of earthy hops. Clean fermentation. 9/12
APPEARANCE: Light yellow/golden hue (2-4 SRM); brilliant clarity. Large white foam mostly dissipates. 3/3
FLAVOR: Lightly sweet taste of authentic barley, though no specialty malt whatsoever. Corn adjunct imparts additional sweetness, but seems more of a garnish than a main course. Clean fermentation character. Only minute bitterness and no distinctive hop flavor (though none needed). Clean dry finish. 17/20
MOUTHFEEL: Light[ish] body; high carbonation. Refreshing and highly quaffable. Slight carbonic bite. Sessionable for most people at 5% ABV. 4/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Exactly what an American adjunct lager should be. Not delicious but definitely a shining example of the style. 9/10
TOTAL SCORE: 42/50

Pours pale yellow white head. Aroma is very medicinal and tons of corn. Flavor follows. Unpleasant. Peterhogan22 (25) - - AUG 10, 2017
Beer is good, better than Coors Light in a different way. Recommend this beer.

Pours a thick foamy head but goes away pretty quick. No lacing whatsoever. Pale straw coloured appearance. Light malt aromas with a dash of wheats. Mild malt flavours, some wheats and grains. Very light citrus hop flavours also. Fairly weak carbonation. Better than the light version!

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 Sub par, taste like corn. Only reason it’s getting a 2 is bc of the alcohol content. Use to be my goto until I discovered Hamms. Cost more than your average low grade beer. camay1997 (51) - patton, California, USA - JUL 24, 2017
Poor head and a standard yellow body with a bland, non-distinct aroma typical of a macro brewed pale lager. The taste is superior to any other beer in it’s class though. My goto session beer. yespr (45844) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2017
24 fl oz can. Pours clear and golden yellow. Small white head. Aroma is grassy, straw. Dry, light bitter. Grainy and grassy. Dry far finish. andersok () - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 10, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2017 I dont like this beer. Every time I try one I’m reminded of how marketing and peer pressure influence my behaviour. Sadly. swesson (462) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - JUL 8, 2017
From a 1936 original short bottle. Pours a clear, pale yellow and makes frothy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is of pale malt. Tastes of malt and little else. It's not a bad beer at all. Just so simple and devoid of hops, distinctive malts, and yeasts, that it's just not enough for me
