Aroma is slightly hoppy. Appearance is pale yellow. Taste is nonthreatening and passive. Palate is clean. Overall, the beer is somewhat refreshing. Perhaps the mountain water does improve the taste.

Had this beer at an corporate event tonight in which it was the best beer on the menu, which should say something right there. A beer that tries to be malty and fails miserably. This is a cross between a disaster and an abortion. Not sure what else to say other than its OK to order a Coke sometimes.

superspak (6078) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - NOV 28, 2017
12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 9/4/2017. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malt/corn and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild balancing herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a good pale lager style. All around good robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nicely flavorful and not watery feeling for the low ABV. Clean pils malt/grainy corn flavors with solid hop balance. A nicely enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Take everything you like (ahem...) about Coors Light, and turn up the volume..... no, not too loud, just turn it up a tad; a hair even. Ever so slightly maltier and, yes, cornier than that silver can you'd normally reach for, which I guess explains why it's 15 cents more.

a decent beer, but it really has no distinct flavor. Im not sure what they are trying to do.

It is light, not offensive, but not real great either.

From Oct 2007

This pours from 32oz bottle a clear pale gold with a 2 finger head of foam thatshrinks to a good solid layer and it has some lacing.

The smell has that typical macro lager nose. A bit of bitter hops and a slight presence of malt.

The taste has some malt, grain, and a touch of hops that adds some bitterness near and through the finish. Very average flavours going on here and my interest in drinking leaves quickly. Nothing offensive going on here, mind you, it's just too ordinary. No wonder I only drink it about every 2 or 3 years....

Not a great beer - only worth getting if trying to save money. It is not the worst of the cheap beers, but that isn't necessarily saying much. Not a lot of taste, and only tastes good when ice cold
