This is the beer that was around a lot longer than it’s sister beer, Coors Light. This beer has a taste that is smooth for the drinker.

Golden with a white head - Malt and hints of hops in the aroma - Malt body with gentle hops to balance with hints of bitterness - Malt goes into the finish - This was better than expected, but still boring

My go to macro swill ATM. Why, I don’t know? So the opposite of a hoppy Pivo Pils. Sweet and bready with a Vienna like influence. I’ve had worse.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2018 Pours pale yellow. Mild body, smooth and easy to drink, just a little hop flavor at the end

UPDATED: APR 7, 2018 Coors doesn't deserve all the hate it gets. For the price, it's one of the better beers available. Pours golden yellow with a nice earthy aroma. Tastes earthy and a nice bread/yeast flavor.

Borup (16539) - Albertslund, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2018
1 pint can. A clear golden coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, straw, fruit and hops.

Jerm719 (202) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAR 22, 2018
UPDATED: MAR 23, 2018 Mild nose. Semisweet grains. Bit of mild earthy hops. Typical American lager, average, very decent for a light refreshing summer brew.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2018 Life in South Texas is harsh on many for the better part of the year. It's hot, and you can usually cut the air into little cubes and put them in you're pocket. After a sun up to sundown day of working cattle or baling hay, you find yourself wanting a cold beer that will quench thirst, and fill the void that asprin and Tylenol normally take place of. This is my go to after a long days work. Its light carmelly, grassy, body gives way to a very light (ultraish) head. It will seperate the skin from your ribs just enough your wife won't think your starving to death. It's consistant, affordable, and if you live west of the Mississippi and east of the continental divide, readily available.

Years ago, before they started shipping it east of the Mississippi, this beer had a distinct aroma and taste that distinguished it from all other beers of the time. That aroma is long gone. After touring the brewery 20 years or so ago I brought up the point of my contention to an employee in the tasting room. They answered the formula had to be adjusted to accommodate the much increased distribution area. I can still taste and smell if I try reel hard. Too bad I can no longer enjoy what once was.

24floz can, BBD: 05.14.2018, $2, pint glass. The much less popular big brother - same look as it is very pale and has little head. A wallflower beer with a standard wet grain aroma. Flavor of brown paper and flour over a light body that is pretty well carbonated. Not awful, but not a go to if in the mood for such a beer. I will continue to go for either something cheaper, 'light,' or a decent micro pale lager that isn't too Americanized and is reasonably priced. Instead of this or any macro full version pale lager (yes this means I'd would rather have the watered down light beers, because who really cares then...).

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2018 It seems to have a sort of sweet taste to it. I really like it, I find it very unique tasting. I wish the price would drop down a bit...much MUCH better than Coors light. No comparison. Drink Banquet in chubbies and you’ll enjoy the taste more.
