Draft at Craft. Hazy deep coppery orange pour with 1-finger of uniform off-white head. Nose is resiny hops, caramel malt, orange, and slight tannins. Tastes crisp, with sharp resiny bite, solid malt backbone, and late tangerine, spicy, and black pepper notes. Super smooth, and so good I growlered this one twice. A nice surprise. egajdzis (6693) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 28, 2004
Poured a reddish brown color with an off white film of a head on top. Piney, resiny hops, with a light malt aroma. Bitter citrus (grapefruit) taste with some caramel malts. This was a very nice IPA. TAR (2779) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - JUN 7, 2004
Cask-conditioned: Foggy, speckle-laden rufous. Fat, pasty, white head. Zesty English hop nose with mineral, biscuit, toffee, and fruity esters. Pillowy soft body. Fluffy, creamy carbonation. Chewy malt flavors are backed with a very pleasant earthy hop bitterness. Hops relentlessly push through with a vaguely rindy bitterness and gain more support from the body-thickening biscuity malts. Faintly medicinal, which conflicts with the earthiness from the hops. Alcohol presence is scarcely present. Turns slightly acidic and leafy as you work your way through the bottom half of the glass. Finishes with a touch of minty alcohol and sweet, moist bread. Enjoyable. adrian910ss (2591) - Doylestown, PA, USA - AUG 11, 2010
On draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear rusty amber with a medium sized off white head. Aroma of tangy malt, hops and lemon tea. Taste is much the same as the aroma with a spicy Belgian flavor. Slipstream (2678) - USA - MAY 11, 2010

On tap. Poured a hazy amber color with a off white head. Armoa and tastes of light malts and pine with some citrus (oranges). Lightly bitter & lightly sweet. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2010
On tap, at brewery. Pours a slightly hazy copper body with minimal to no head save for a partial wispy off-white film. Nice clean citrusy hop nose with some toasty malt. Nicely raw and green hops with a moderate bitterness that dominates the flavor up front. A nice munich malt sweetness underlies the leafy hop finish. The finish has especially good length. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. A touch of resiny stickiness on the finish. Not bad, a little heavy and overly malty, but I’ve had much worse,. alobar (3879) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 5, 2010

NEWTOWN BREWFEST 2010. Not a bad I.P.A but it was over shadowed by many others at the brewfest. I iwll say that they managed to get a decent blend of alcohol and hop, it was clean. A citrus taste.
