Red, white creamy head. Soft nose of florals, chocolate, citrus, and toffee. Flavor is similar, slightly roasty, with more floral, caramel toffee balance. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bittersweet finish. Well made….

KSBF 2006. Pours a hazy copper amber with a small creamy off white head. Aroma of fresh citrus, hops, lightly fruity and caramel malts. Flavors of the same with more yeast than I expected. whaleman (2178) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2006
Warm red-amber body with a nice, uniform, cream-colored head. Pleasant malt aroma with notes of fruit, toffee, spice, and toast. Deep, earthy malt flavors with subtle roast late and some wood stem hop qualities and firm bitterness. Nice palatable texture. A very solid, stylish red ale in my book. Hazy dark straw pour with aroma of hopcit and some fruit. The flavor is of caramel malt at the heart with a firm hopcitric presence and some apricot notes.tiggmtl (4545) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 13, 2005

On draft at GLI, non-cask version. Deep copper colored with medium head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, dark fruit. Tastes malty, fruity, with finishing notes of nuts, caramel, and toffee. The finish had a refreshing sweetness and crispness that makes this one stand out in my mind. This is not your father’s amber ale.
Mild caramel and toasted malt aroma with some herbal hops. Clear amber coloured body with a low white head that recedes to ring. Caramel and grainy malts with herbal hops and low bitterness. Medium body with low carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub with beerbuzzmontreal, MartinT, Rastacouere and Yowie.

Nondescript hoppy subtleties play around the fruity caramel. Simplicity is evoked, as are futures of chugging.
Pleasant caramel malt roundness agrees with the prevalent fruitiness. Some tartness rakes the back of the palate, which isn’t really necessary for one’s enjoyment of this amber ale.
A recalcitrant student.
Headless hazy dark amber pour. Toasted grain nose includes a complementing tartish leafiness that doesn’t want to evolve into something else and stales the palate. Keeps being grainy all through. Flat and thin bodied, dull texture. Sammy (12210) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 15, 2005
light taste and mouthfeel. Some hops, and malt/caramel. Least interesting of lineup that I tried. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - SEP 6, 2004
On tap at brewpub and Cask Conditioned. Light clear copper color with no head. Aroma of light berries. Very light hoppy flavor. Mild tasting. Not bad. Drinkable.
