Bottle. Pale gold in colour. Citrus fruity; grapefruit and orange. Floral hops. Malty; biscuity malty base. Sweetish fruity with a mildly bitter hoppy edge. Dry finish. Tasty. Refreshing. Easy drinking. Liked this. Nice beer! (2008)

(Bottle) Pours golden yellow with modest white head. Pleasant refreshing aroma - citrus with hints of bread and grass. Light body, medium carbonation. Nice light malt with slight sweetness and bready hints. Some nice hoppy bitterness appears in mid palate and stays around for long finish. I usually find blondes lacking flavour but this is pretty tasty.

Pint at the Dun Cow, Durham. Very pale gold with a rising curtain of cloudy bubbles and a thin, frothy white head. Barely any aroma, but what little there is is striking mostly as hay. Very watery, faintly bitter hoppy flavour. Akin to a handful of hay in a glass of water. nybol (1765) - DENMARK - JUN 4, 2016
Godt humlet, let sødlig øl, med en hel del frugtsmag. Citrus til at starte med, der går over i en mere bred og fyldig smag. God øl! TheAleMale (34) - Worcester, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2016

Bottle from Copper Dragon Brewery, Skipton. A very pale golden beer with a rich malty and toffee apple flavour followed by vanilla, marzipan, coconut and Christmas cake on the finish. Nice. Holmen2 (3568) - NORWAY - NOV 29, 2015
Backlog. At the Vine Inn, Manchester, beginning of May 2013. Very pale straw colour. Slightly uneven, but persistent off-white head and lacing. Soft aroma with lemon and lime marmalade. Pale malt in taste and bitter citrus in aftertaste. MPG (1) - PENYCAE, WALES - SEP 28, 2015 does not count
Drank at two pubs in Yorkshire, one of the best pale ales ive ever tried.
Nice pale colour, with the most wonderful creamy white head and a great array of delicate flavours.

I see this beer everywhere so it must have some sort of following but I fail to see the appeal. It’s a run of the mill golden ale, pale amber in colour with an enduring white head. It has biscuity malts and a long, bitter finish but I detected none of the advertised citrus. A little watery on the palate. Maybe it was an interesting beer once but it’s nothing special by today’s standards. Perfectly drinkable though.
