Can. Pours black with tan head. Aroma is chocolate malt. Taste is sweet sour (Can might be bad) with a sour chocolate smoky finish. Not a fan but feel might have got a bad can from a mix a six. onceblind (10862) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 16, 2014
Clear black pour with a thin light tan head. Nose is big and awesome with creamy milk chocolate tones, with a bodyful roasty depth. Flavor has a big roasty milk chocolate tone, good earthy sweetness, with a earthy creamy finish. Not as custard-y as I hoped, but very delicious and chocolaty. Pint at the brewery. Pours pretty dark with a tight tan head. The lactose comes out in the aroma as a mildly tart thing, which I like. The palate is slick and creamy. There is the milky sweetness along with almost genuine coffee notes. Hints at cacao and soy sauce round out things. I like that they’ve done the chocolate milk thing without making this overly sweet. Growler pour. Clear dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate, caramel, light coffee and sugar. Flavor is the same with a somewhat creamy mouth feel. Medium bodied. Light lactose.
