Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought biscuit, bread, hints of grass, touch of earth, slight vanilla, honey, and peppery notes as well. Taste is a mix of sweet honey, slight cracker, biscuit, slight spice and yeast, touch of vanilla, finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry.arrogantb (1402) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 10, 2012

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma has notes of grain, biscuit, lemon, slight vanilla, touch of straw and grassy notes as well. Taste is a mix of grass and spice, some vanilla, honey notes, touch of straw and hay, slight biscuit and bread, finishing fairly dry. Pretty decent.
On tap at Copper Kettle, I’ve been trying to learn more about the Kolsch style so I’ve been ordering them whenever I see them. Light yellow color and clear, I was told by another patron it was hazy upon release. Smells like minerals, not bad. Tastes crisp, clean and has an aftertaste of watermelon. I know it sounds weird but I taste a fruitiness from kolsch beers and this one was distinctly watermelon. Overall, good stuff.

Part of a flight at the brewery. Pours a bright straw/yellow with a bit of a bubbly head. Very balanced with sweet malts and a kiss of bitter hops in the end. Nice brew. bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Draft at the brewery. Proper glass! Hazy yellow with active carbonation. Nose is very bitter with a nice mild hop nose. Taste is mild hops with a nice yeast profile. Smooth with nice carbonation. Nice beer. onceblind (9663) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 6, 2011
Pale light gold with slight haze, with a nice little head. Aroma of light flowers and pale cereal malts. Pale flavor distinctive to the style, filled with pale grains, crisp semi sweet maltiness, with a very subtle hop tone that isn’t very bitter. Drinkable and good. It’s not boring, but it’s not exceptional.

Growler filled at CK a few hours ago - hazy light gold - shouldn’t be haze in this style, but this has killer head retention, so it still looks pretty nice to me - nose of clean pale malt sweetness and strong grassy, herbal hops - flavor is lean, clean maltiness up front, followed quickly by a very light estery fruitiness - hops come on string through the middle - floral and grassy at first, but by the finish they are potent and peppery - finish has some lingering toasty grain, some unwelcome huskiness, but is mostly clean, leaving a lingering hop bite - a pretty solid session brew. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 31, 2011
Tap @ brewery. Fairly cloudy, luminescent yellow appearance with a pearl white head. Straw, pale malty, mild grassy, earthy hoppy aroma. Straw/hay, slightly grainy, pale malty flavor with an earthy hoppiness. Straw, grassy aftertaste. Very clean flavor, just like their others. For a style that I usually don’t enjoy, this isn’t bad.
