I’ve had this a few times, including with single hops Cascade in two versions. Dark copper with moderate head. Aroma of grassy hops and light pine. Moderate carbonation and significant mouthfeel (esp with the Cascade hops version). Flavors of grapefruit rind, straw hops, bitter roots, slight soap water, melon rind, molasses. Overall big and bold with slight mouth puckering bitterness and funky melon. arminjewell (9635) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 5, 2013

Draft at taproom. Pours amber with a thin khaki head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Slight malty note on the nose. More malt than hops on the tongue. Finishes clean. There’s a fine line between proportion/balanceand boredom. Concealer (1246) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Tap. Copper pour with a caramel white head. Smells of malt, spice and light citrus and caramel. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel and citrus, light bitter finish. A much maltier IPA. NachlamSie (3479) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Pint at the brewery. Pours hazy dark copper with a tall head. Hops are there in the aroma, but don’t stand out like I would like. There are modest grapefruity hints and just a touch pine. Hops are pretty assertive. There are some brown sugar notes in the finish. Hops provide more bitterness than explosive flavor. BeerandBlues2 (13303) - Escondido, California, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Tap. Pours clear dark orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is dank, earthy, and citrus hops with biscuit malt. Flavor is heavy hops and medium bitterness with fruity esters, supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. cubs (10634) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Tap @ Copper Kettle. Pours a bit hazy reddish orange appearance with an off white head. Kind of smells like an English Pale, strangely enough. Chewy ale yeasty, tangerine citrusy, somewhat herbal aroma. Earthy, herbal hoppy, a touch buttery, light caramel, toasty malty flavor. Kind of interesting.
