/9/2017. Pours black with tan foam. Hearty dark chocolate, dark fruit, coffee, roasty aromas. Smooth rich mouthfeel. Dark roast, almost burnt malt flavors with dark fruits, herbal coffee, chocolate--tangy drying finish---abv is well cloaked___ very tasty.

Not a great imperial stout. Vanilla yeast chewy with a burnt grain bite. Does not taste clean. Thin lasting head. Aroma is dark malt.

On tap at Hughies. Pours a dark brown with smal beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, cracker, roast, wood. Medium body, strong roast, cocoa, wood, dry finish, good. AggieBrewer (3) - - AUG 2, 2015 does not count
I had this beer from a small batch aged on cocoa nibs in a bourbon barrel. It was served on a nitro tap. Outstanding taste with bourbon and chocolate notes. Great head retention. Nose has a slight hint of chocolate. Make sure to visit the brewery when this one’s on tap.
