Misty saffron pour, thin white head. Dali-esque label on a standard longneck. Good appearance marks. Kind of a weird aroma - hoppy, mustardy/savory. Tasty - piney, kumquat - moderately sweet, forthrightly bitter. Bitter aftertaste flares and then leaves the building without hanging around too long. Nice carbonation and frothy mouthfeel, so good marks on palate. Not distinctive except in its balance. Market Square Liquors, Tallahassee. drowland (8955) - Georgia, USA - AUG 30, 2017
8/24/17. On tap at 7th Hill Taproom. Thanks, markwise! Copper pour with a nice khaki head. Nice aroma, citrus, some tropical. Good flavor, pils malts, crackers, citrus, tropical. Tasty. glennmastrange (2899) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - AUG 15, 2017
Bottle. Moderate roasted grain for the malt, moderate to heavy pine and lemon peel for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with faint spice and dried fruit in the background. Head is small, frothy, slightly off-white, with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky light amber with lotsa tiny particles. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then the long finish is moderately bitter. Palate is medium, slick, with a lively carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. Not a bad IPA, not very complex but very drinkable.

Very “drinkable”, not overwhelming with the hops. If there is one subpar component it’s the appearance, ...foggy. The finish is cleaner than one would think.

Bottle best by 7/12/17 - nose is citrus, sulfur and sea salt. Sip adds tropical juice. Refreshing and bitter. Ahuth (645) - Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2017
Bottle. Pours clear orange. The palate is full body and crisp for a nice hot day. The taste is orange and grapefruit hops. Proceeded with a floral pine bitterness of the hops. Above average. UXO (1896) - CANADA - MAY 20, 2017
Appearance: slightly hazy pale gold with one fat finger of fluffy white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: mild, citrus, pine, pale crackery malt, floral. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body tending thin, moderate carbonation, off-dry lingering bitter finish. (3/5)
Really light and mild on the outset, with a moderately high bitter finish that for me comes across as a bit thin and unbalanced given the very light character of the malt. I’m not quite sure what they were going for here, but you certainly don’t get the “huge hits of citrus and pine aromas” the label promises. The wateriness of the body just isn’t supporting the hop profile, and it ends up being a bit sharp. There are no off notes, and it’s not offensive by any means, but it’s not something you need to go out of your way for either. (13/20)
