nathanvc (640) - Brugge, BELGIUM - OCT 13, 2017
Bottle brought back from Madeira, thanks to Matthias and Tamara!
Labeled 5,1%. Pours clear golden and fizzing with a diminishing, foamy, white head. The aroma contains grain, 'wet hay', hops and malt. It tastes light sweet and light to medium grainy bitter, with rather short and grainy finish. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Just a tad better than the Cerveja Super Bock.

Robe dorée, fine mousse peu persistante. Nez plus fruité, moins malté. Bouche ronde, fruitée, fine bulle, finale courte. Agréable sans plus.

GuideDogSaint (1718) - Xiamen, CHINA - JUN 5, 2017
250ml bottle from a local shop in Jimei. Just happened to randomly see it in their fridge. This is labelled as >=5.1% with a slightly different label but unless they are brewing something special for China I guess this is it. Pours clear golden yellow with a dissipating white head. Aroma of malt and grain. Low carbonation. Malty taste. Sweet finish. Some body.

Scopey (15431) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2017
Bottle in Lisboa. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is toasty grain, touch of baked beans, grass and metal. The taste is crisp, dry, toasty grain, lemon rind, grass, touch of metal and earth with a drying finish. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. Fair enough Euro lager.

From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Sulphury malt nose. Tart bitter malt/hop flavor is unpleasant and astringent. Lacks balance or complexity.

Cimbasso (975) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2017
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Golden lager with not much head. Strangely, it feels slightly fizzy on the tongue, despite its rather flat appearance. Some very mild malt taste, but little hop flavour. Very thin mouthfeel and a weird vegetal aftertastel. Very poor.
