A nitrogenated draught-style ale that is creamy, malty and full-bodied. Available year-round. Our Stout is satisfyingly rich but not too heavy. Caramel and Black malts give the Stout its deep, dark color and pronounced roasted flavor.

On tap at Flying Saucer, Little Rock. I think this is my first Arkansas rating. Dark body off white head some lacing. Quite roasty with a touch of lactose but not particularly robust. Not bad.

This is my favorite oatmeal stout! Perfect combination of roastiness and body. This is a must for stout drinkers.

Pours a very dark brown color. Has a very slow forming head. Very thick pillowy head. Long lasting head. Pretty nice lacing.

It smells like a stout should. It has a smoky flavor, maybe even char. Coffee aroma. I just stuck my nose in it and inhaled some. I guess were done with the smell test.

Taste is sweet. It has a lingering aftertaste that is weird. Primary taste is smoky sweet malt. Maybe its bittersweet. But yes theres coffee. Somehow it feels out of place. I dunno.

Mouthfeel is medium. Body is light. It has a good texture to it, but something is off. It is very smooth.

Overall its pretty enjoyable. It seems the finished product doesnt equal the sum of its parts. While it is good, and I do like it. It could be way better. Worth a try, yes. Worth repeating? Probably not.

Sample at Boulevardia 2015. Comes dark brown with a decent tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, and coffee. Perhaps a bit too sweet. Still a nice one.

One of my year round "go to" brews from Core. It has a very smooth and creamy mouth feel, with nicely balanced chocolate and coffee flavors. This is not overly carbonated and is pretty much everything an oatmeal stout should be.

Bottle share thanks to Homer321. Metallic, roasty, semi sweet malt aroma. Dark blackish, huge huge foamy light brown head, too foamy to pour. Roasty, lightly metallic, some astringent, chocolate, sweet. Meh.

Draft at the source. Clear deep maroon brown color, beige head. Aroma of sweet cocoa. Taste is dark cocoa, milk chocolate. Decent.

Bottle: Dark brown with a large, creamy tan head. Modest roast in the nose, lightly sweet. Some cocoa. Easy drinker, balance of roast and cocoa. On the sweeter side, but in a good way. Great mouthfeel. Overall well done.

Tasting notes from 6/21 Joplin Macadoodles Beerfest: Dry, raisiny oatmeal beer. Quite tasty.

On tap. Not on nitrogen. Roasty vanilla aroma with some faint nuttiness and sweet. Opaque black with clear, ruby highlights under light brown patches and ring. Sweet and roasty flavour with medium dark chocolate bitterness. Medium body, moderate to medium carbonation, lingering dry roasty finish.
