330ml brown bottle from Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Medium brown pour with deep orange highlights. Small tan head, light lacing. Nose has some roasted malt, earth, chocolate and toasty notes. Taste is earthy, toasty, dark chocolate, a bit of dark fruit. Dry finish, grains and earthy malt in the aftertaste, light bitterness. Getting a slightly vegetal undertone here thats not very pleasant. Good looking beer, but odd tasting.Tough to get through the whole bottle.

330 ml bottle bought at Orosl Ferenss booth at HKCEC in Wan Chai during The 14th Hong Kong Food Festival.

Clear Cola blackish brown colour; Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy off-white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Poor sticky lacing with very slight carbonation; Aroma of dark malt, with roasted pumpkin seeds, caramel, light toffee, very light mustiness, light floral, molasses, dark bread and very light grass; Mid to light sweet taste of dark malt, with fair coffee, chocolate, light caramel, light floral, fair molasses, dark bread, fair lemon, fair bitter hops and light grass; Close to light body. Watery palate; Mouth feel is fairly good dark maltyness in a very thinned background. Decent coffee, light toffee and light caramel with fair floral and molasses. Dry dark bread (probably from pumpkin seeds) with light lemon to round. Decent!... Hoppiness is light floral and very light grass in nose, same in taste with light lemon. Bitterness is light but notable for a lasting, fair astringent sweet malty finish; Dry after taste. Bready and quite easy to mouth.

Comments: This is essentially a decent Dunkel brewed with roasted pumpkin seeds, in which its aroma is not as strong as Core Bio (the Lager), and its dry bready taste complements the coffee dark malt pretty well. A neat boost to an on-average dark lager, Nice one!

Ambar bastante limpia, de espuma blanca no demasiado duradera. Aeoma cereal. En boca es agradablemente malteada. Caracter dulce y un conseguido contrapunto que aportan las pipas aadidas a la receta, presentes en el sabor. Bien presentes, dejando sabor a pipa en el paladar. Eso es lo que la hace diferente e interesante.

Kolor ciemno brązowy z rubinowym refleksem, piana gęsta, wysoka i utrzymująca się. W zapachu lekko przypalony karmel. W smaku bardziej słodkie, karmel, trochę coca-coli, przypieczone ciasto i posmak dyniowych pestek. Dość wodniste i brakuje mu pełni.

Piwo z dodatkiem pestek dyni. Kolor czarny. Zapach słodowy, palony. W smaku taki dunkiel. Na finiszu czuć smak pestek dyni. Smak trochę płytki.

Bottle from random supermarket in Austria. Clear dark dark brown colour, short lasting head. Quite clean aroma and flavour, featuring mostly roasted malt flavours, chocolate, roasted. Very thin bodied, relatively easy drinking. Not bad actually.

W aromacie nieco ciemnego chleba i garsc gwozdzie. W smaku, klasyczny, wodnisty dunkel. Na finiszu lekki akcent wskazujacy na uzycie pestek z dyni. Slabizna.

330 ml bottle from Meinl am Graben, Vienna.
Dark copper, brownish body, with a medium, unstable, frothy, dark beige head.
Aroma of pumpkin seed, bread, caramel, toast, some dark fruits.
Taste is quite light, with similar aromas.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes quite light, with pumpkin seed, toast, some sweet malts.

OK. Nothing special, all about the pumpkin seeds, otherwise quite one-dimensional. Nose promises more than the taste delivers.
