bottle i brought for ethereal from austria. pumpkin seed beer, funny idea. thankfully it doesn’t taste of it at all. there is a hint in the nose mingling with coffe, leather and a claer leathery malt nose. Dark reddish brown in colour with a thin tan rim. Smooth carbonation, lovely and light beer. Notes of malty cereals, milk chocolate and dried fruits. surprisingly light and easy drinking. 330ml bottle, at home with renffisch, 25th June 2008. Thanks babe :) Dark brown with a reddish tint. Great aroma of molasses, caramel and smokiness. The flavour is similar, with malty notes coming through. Quite thin but the flavour stays in the mouth. A nice, highly drinkable dark beer. simonblaine (593) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 31, 2013
Pours auburn/brown with minimal head. Aroma of chocolate and maple syrup and roasted nuts. Fairly tasty, almost like a port and a stout mix. Think desert beer.

Bottle. Pours lovely golden, clear, average head. Aroma: orange peel, perfume, malt, caramel, chocolate. Taste: roasted malts, coffee, butterscotch, cooked vegetables, caramel, pumpkin seed finish. Quite an interesting brew. FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 11, 2007
330ml bottle, shared with Tranquility - thanks!
More a schwartze or a dunkel than any other style. Jet black in our lighting conditions, with a small beige head. Smooth chocolatey aroma. Strong caramelly malt taste, both richly roasted and fairly burnt, but also a lighter maltiness too. Slightly winey, and some dark fruits, fleshy raisins or other berries. Some hints of juniper berries too. Very pleasant. Radek Kliber (7501) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - OCT 17, 2013
Bottle 500 ml
Aroma: dark malts, caramel, chocolate. Slight fruity sweetness behind. Roast backing.7+
Apperance: poured with medium plus beige mocha cap. Nicely contrasted with dark brown base.
Taste/Palate etc. medium bodied with thinner walls. Nice roast up front, chocolate behind. Dry ending. Pumpkin seed flavoring is understated. This is nice lagered? stout. Late sweetness that should not be around. Is this pale lager based with added chocolate malt? Still considering reviews this is underrated for some reason. Maybe one thinks that if its cheap and from Poland must be bad...Either way nice not excellent desert brew.
